This book, I thought the first book was amazing! Nate has more heartache than Silas (the first book), the emotion and life events in this book are completely different from those in Silas, though the charters are the Same with the same ranch. The love and connections in this book are incredible! This book had me hooked from the instant I started reading it, I read it in one sitting, which was until 1 am this morning. The chemistry and bantering between Shiloh and Nate is one that makes you smile and you never want it to stop. The way Taryn writes this story is amazing, the way she describes Shiloh's blindness and how amazing Shiloh is. Shiloh is a heroin that every girl should look up to! Never let your disabilities hold you back!

I have been anticipating book 2 of the Sutton Ranch Series and Nate has proven to be worth the wait. Nate is a confirmed bachelor, a real player. His looks were the key to all the women's hearts. Of course as the saying goes, beauty is only skin deep. What secrets were hiding below the surface? Nate's outlook changes the day Shiloh shows up, riding like the wind. She seemed to have it all together, the "Golden Girl" to him but what weakness was she trying to hide from him? Nate was able to grab my heart strings and yet managed to exhilarate me at the same time. As always Taryn Plendl included the right amount of heat! I can hardly wait for Ryke, book 3 and Nate's twin brother.

Characters like Nate and Shiloh are a reminder of why I fell in love with reading. Taryn Plendl goes beyond what the eye can see and takes aim at what the heart can feel. Shiloh is the best part of humanity. What others perceive as weakness is a source of strength for her. She enlightens with her spirit and inspires with her touch. She has the heart of a fighter and will champion the most lost of souls. Nate is a triumphant masterpiece.

Nate has always had it easy with the ladies. He is handsome, charming and only in for a fling. That all changes the day he meets a sassy captivating blonde riding horseback on the ranch. It appears he needs to up his game.
Shiloh is a beautiful nurturing woman that had lost her sight at 15. She is now out to prove that her eye sight did not define her or her abilities. She is now working on the ranch with horse therapy and giving others the chance to discover that inner strength to empower them and help them to succeed .
When they meet the attraction is immediate and although Shiloh cannot see that handsome face of Nate she knows that he is a beautiful man inside out. Nate realizes that he must finally face his childhood demons to be able to finally find that love with someone that he truly deserves!

This is the second book in the series, it could be read as a standalone but I recommend that you read the previous book as the characters appear in this book and it will give you a bit of a back story. I really enjoyed this book, it is a quick read but it flows well and the story doesn’t feel rushed. I loved the banter between Nate and Shiloh, the chemistry between them sizzles from their first meeting and you just knew that when Nate fell it would be hard! Nates back story is heartbreaking but after everything Shiloh has been through she was the perfect woman to get past his barriers and help him through. I can’t wait for the next book in this series, another great read from this author.

When the two come together, the chemistry is undeniable, and both can help each other.
I loved the story and the characters, I'm looking forward to the next book.

Shiloh is a beautiful feisty woman who loves her independence. She took what life gave her and made a way for herself. Nate had his demons that he was overwhelmed with. Together these two could help heal one another.
If your looking for a short sweet read this is the one for you. Not only is it hot but it's also full of hope and courage.

This was a quick read that had a lot of story to it but still felt a little rushed at times. I loved that Shiloh had a disability and was so well rounded despite it. I also loved how she was so good with Nate in dealing with his demons. Just wished we had gotten a little more of their story.

Just as good as the first!
Loved the storyline! Was well informed and researched background. Did a great job of making a able bodied person think about the daily difficulties of the blind!

Another sweet hit
Shiloh and Nate's story was so sweet! They were absolutely amazing together! I fell head over heels for Nate's vulnerability. It was nothing short of spectacular!

Nate... Oh how I’ve longed for you and your story.
We met Nate in book 1 (Silas), and I was so eager for his story! He is sexy, and witty and I needed more. Relying on his looks to get his way with the ladies, he runs into a slight problem when he meets a beautiful blonde with a sassy mouth & quick wit.
Shiloh couldn’t be more perfect for Nate. Confident & sexy and knows how to put a guy in his place. The chemistry between them was super hot and the banter was fun.
This well-written story gave me everything I need. It’s filled with the perfect blend of heart, humor, and sass. I cannot wait for Ryke’s book!

A nice quick read. Very enjoyable. Wished it was slightly longer though as I loved the storyline
