This is volume six of the Chess 101 Intermediate Tactics Series which covers all of the following tactics; forks. pins, skewers, end games and more. Other books in this series specifically cover forks, pins, skewers, removing the defenders and end games. (None of the puzzles in any of the six series books are repeated in any of the other books.) Each answer in this book ranges from two to four moves and you must always look to make not only your best move to solve the puzzle, but your opponent’s best move as well. There are no checkmates. You must find the winning tactic that will lead to a won game. Also, while many chess puzzle books have the reader solving all of the puzzles from the perspective of "white to play", Intermediate Puzzles will challenge the reader to solve puzzles from the perspective of "black to play" as well, which is more realistic.
