Welcome to Spellbound, where paranormal is the new normal.
New witch Emma Hart is at her wit’s end and, this time, it’s not the result of her vampire ghost roommate, her snarky owl, or her feelings for a certain fallen angel. Key members of Spellbound society are acting like children and it’s wreaking havoc on the town’s regulation-happy infrastructure. When Emma is turned invisible during the investigation, she realizes that the spell was no accident and that someone is out to silence her—permanently.

Auch dieses Abenteuer hat einfach so viel Spaß gemacht🥰 Ich kann mich nur wiederholen: diese Serie ist wie ein Mini Urlaub für mich. Ich liebe Spellbound😍😍
I have been loving this series so far.. but I am getting a little bit annoyed with her obsession with Daniel. He’s so boring. I love the mystery aspect of the series but I have a feeling she’s going to end up with Daniel in the end and I’m not excited for it. I’ll read a few more but I may have to give up on the series if she doesn’t stop acting like a teenager with her first love.
This series is fun, compulsively readable, light, funny, charming, and always leaves a fine cozy after taste.
Includes the standard elements of cultural appropriation such as voodoo dolls, spirit animals, dream catchers etc used as magical tools so to speak in a largely European set magical world.
I crave being immersed in a different world and discovering magical adventures, which this series is able to deliver. After the slow introduction of the first book of introduction, this book was able to capture my attention and compel me to continue to read on. So I am very grateful this one was available through Kindle unlimited.
In this series, you are swept away into a magical world of exploration and adventure. Each page turn brings new insight into the supernatural beings in this paranormal world. Yet the heroine survives by comparing this magical world with the human world she has left behind.
This whimsical ride to solve the mystery to who put a childish spell on the town council, with clues that don't add up. Although there were absolutely no clues about who actually cast the spell, the person responsible for the current magical debacle was finally exposed by Emma, with the assistance of the remedial witches.
This book can stand on its own, but reading the series in order probably helps with the entire scope of the series, it was a clean presentation, and a mystery was solved --
What will happen next? You will just never know unless you crack open a book and start reading.
I’m dragging my reading of this series into 2021. It’s pretty hokey, the covers are... hilarious!, and yet I cannot stop my reading of them. I cannot and will not!
So great but sad. A part of me wanted to rate it lower only because something happened that I didn't like. I am trying to be a big girl and understand that I am not the author. Mostly, I am throwing a fit and hopes for a better outcome. I may just be too attached which means it is a great story. She has me hooked.
This was another fairly short (less than 200 pages), easy, fun, quick read. Emma is all set to give a proposal to the town council but when she arrives it is to find that they’ve all been hit by a spell that reverted their minds to childlike. Unfortunately, although they have young minds, they still have their powers. Now between finding people to watch the childlike council members and hopefully keep them out of trouble, Emma is on the hunt to find out who cast the spell and why. There is also the party to introduce Magpie to the cat familiars of Emma’s friends. This has an interesting mystery, new characters to learn about, lots of humour, some more information about Emma and the situation of Emma turning invisible. I’m really enjoying these light books.
Cutest story but I really prefer more bite in my stories. The plot is very interesting. Supernatural trapped in a town full of secrets and seething emotions. Everyone is so nice it just is too sweet.
Adorable series We hear a bit more about what exactly our female lead. I’m actually not a massive fan of Daniel the angel I feel like the cute vamp is the better option or even the Minotaur.
This was quite the story! Emma and the gang have to come together to figure out who enchanted Spellbound's council! The story is quite good, it was slow at some points but picks up towards the middlish end. I really enjoyed it!

Emma learns more about her magical background. The relationship between her and her familiar is growing into a cute grumpy relationship. She’s slowly fitting in.
2022 bk 202. and the series continues. Another fun, easy paranomal mystery that helped me survive the waiting room while a relative had a medical procedure. For when you need fun and not so serious.
Honestly Daniel, wtf. And I’m already annoyed because of course he won’t marry Elsa, and of course Emma will forgive him, and of course they’ll end up together when he only deserves to have his penis chopped off
Lucky Charm: Spellbound 4 Chronological order recommended.
In A Nutshell: There is mischief afoot in Spellbound, a town where supernaturals have been cursed to remain for centuries. Somebody has spelled the Town Council back to childhood. Never fear Emma is on the case until a spell makes her invisible.
The Plot: Who is out to harm the town of Spellbound?
The Protagonist(s):Emma is a feisty, fun, self-deprecating character. She also has a strong moral streak but finds it hard to trust. The story of why unravels a little more in each telling. And this story brings more reason for her to distrust.
Welcome to Spellbound a town of whacky quirky characters. There is somebody for everybody to applaud or boo. Spellbound is probably the best example of diversity. From fallen angels to wicked witches. The characters are all relatable and engaging.
Our protagonist, Emma, is enduring a lot of personal angst in this episode and not just because somebody made her invisible! But Emma braves it like the hero she is.
For lovers of a good cosy, light reads or humourous escapism.
Book Rating Sexual Content: U Language: U Violent: U Would I read the next one or reread ?: If it is anything like this yes.
My rating system (* = star) 0* Could not finish this book (waste of time) 1*Finished the book but didn't like it not fulfilled 2* Finished the book it was okay. 3* A good read worth your time. 4* An excellent read often with a novel concept or unusual plot. 5* A magnificent read. A prominent example of the genre.
Endlich ein neuer Teil. Von mir aus könnten die Bücher viel länger sein, es gibt so vieles zuentdecken und zu erzählen. Der Ort ist nicht nur magisch sondern auch irgendwie gemütlich.
What a fantastic read! Can you imagine the mighty council reverting back to childhood? What a hoot that was for so many in the fictional community. (Guess it is like that in real life, too, if you think about it. People doing things that they know are wrong but act like spoiled brats to get their way.) Josef’s funeral was interesting, and poor Emma having to fly on the broomstick while being afraid of heights to get there. Of course, the reception/celebration that followed was til dawn making the following day for many a bit difficult. Okay, the funeral happened before the council mishap. But the funeral also inadvertently caused the laughs. Elsa had to care for her mom. Her mom finally paid a visit to Agnes, her mom, in the Spellbound Care Home - even if she had to have an adult with her to do so. The actions of the council were those of very young aged children. From pushing to picking one’s noes, the council members did it all. It did take several town people to help out with the group. Emma shined in this storyline so much more than in books one through three. She really stepped up for a newbie of the town. She was authoritative yet gentle and persuasive with the group. Mostly, she just wanted to help get them back to “normal.” She wasn’t sure about what she learned from the Grey sisters about her heritage. Even with Daniel there when she found out, she was uncomfortable with the knowledge. Daniel, who Emma cared deeply for, well let’s just say - not cool, Daniel! Professor Holmes and the young witches helped when Emma turned invisible. The vampires had a seance at Gareth’s house to reconnect with him. They were able to get some issues taken care of while they we’re finally able to see gareth. The sheriff was still not helpful, but that may be about to change. The more I read this series, the more I enjoyed this town of Spellbound. ASS Academy was in a bind as headmistress was on the council leaving Holmes to make do in helping to solve the spell to right the youth spell. Yeah, I’d recommend this series. So far, it has had some good laughs.
Well, I'm back in Spellbound, where being a witch living among the paranormal is Emma's new life.
I could almost picture the Spellbound Society Council Members making a muck all over town after being bewitched to revert back to their childhood antics.
However, before the Council Members are spelled, Emma attend her first funeral in Spellbound. After the funeral, Emma plans on attending the Council meeting seeking a change of the harsh laws in Spellbound.
During b the investigation of who spelled the Council Emma is turned invisible. Emma reaches out to her remedial class of witch's and Holmes to help her figure out how she became invisible. It's during the discussion that Emma learns that the spell was cast because she was getting to close to the truth behind the spell on the Council Members.
Now as for Emma love life, things have made a turn for the worse. Emma learns that Daniel is engaged to the Mayor's daughter. Emma eventually has her doubts that it's a pure love match. But what is Emma to do?
Lucky Charm is the fourth book in the Spellbound series. It's a full length novel that has light drama, humorous moments, lots of magical paranormals, and a bit of love.
Books in the series include: Curse the Day, Book 1 Doom and Broom, Book 2 Spell's Bells, Book 3 Lucky Charm, Book 4
Next books in the Spellbound series: Better than Hex, Book 5
Emma's still dreaming about Daniel, while working as the public defender for Spellbound. She attends a council meeting with the intention of raising the subject of re-evaluating the sentencing structure which is unusually harsh but on entering the hall see's the council members behaving quite literally like a class of seven year olds left without any supervision.
When the registrar appears to be in the same condition it's clear that a spell has been cast on the building but who would want to send the council back to their childhood?
As Emma discovers it's a long list of potential suspects but none of them seems to be anything but shocked by the results of the mystery spell. So while the Sheriff plays golf and has a massage Emma delves deeper into the recent cases and registrations.
Daniel is still trying to make amends to the people he was less than kind to, when it comes to Elsa his last relationship things come to a head, will he break Emma's heart in the process?
Gareth is still determined to crack his ghostly problems of only being able to interact with Emma and Sedgwick, can Emma find someone able to help him learn to move objects and talk to his vampire friends?
