A relatively short book, which is essentially a collection of sermons on the topic. Henderson is simple and conversational in style--although occasionally more repetitive than seemed necessary.

While it's not a big time investment, I found I had to take pauses after each part and really meditate on the aspects of scripture I had long overlooked--or simply had some wrong thinking toward. (To begin with, up until the past couple of years, I had always assumed the term "courts of heaven" to refer to a royal court--because... Kingdom made me think royal?--not the legal type of court, which is actually accurate to the intent.) Secondly, it hadn't particularly occurred to me to wonder over a few of the instances in which Jesus healed, where he first made a point of forgiving the person of their sins. (I don't know why I hadn't considered this--I often wonder if I spent my earlier years reading the Bible with my eyes closed.)

I appreciated that Henderson addresses healing out of the gate as the default state of God's will for all of us. Toward the end, he also makes a clear case over how unforgiveness can impede healing for some--which, while basic, is a good reminder. Particularly for those who may be finding themselves led (however reluctantly) in the direction of ministering Deliverance.

If one doesn't take the work as a whole, I could see how some might leap to the conclusion that Henderson is promoting some sort of legalistic formula. But really, he's more about outlining some potential tools and ways of perceiving the resistance to breakthroughs one may experience.
