The third book of the HADRON series. When alliances are made and then cast aside, Humans are given a choice... join the enemy or die. Freedom is rarely given through charity. It is mostly earned through blood.
I came to this planet sixty some odd years ago. After exiting my mother's portal, the doctor slapped me around until I started breathing the oxygen. I'll admit, at the time, I had no idea what I was doing or where I was. Being an infant Human, I was completely reliant on the responsible actions of others. It was a time that I have largely forgotten.
I reside in Central Florida with the wife and children. After thirty years in engineering, my time is now spent chronicling the adventures of fictitious heroes. They are off-world, fighting the good fight. For me? I'm stuck here on this planet in this feeble existence that we Humans are all forced to endure.
So, I ask you this... do you wish to escape the bonds of this surly planet we call Earth? Are you looking for a bit more adventure than what the grocery store has to offer? Do you worry about being enslaved by alien androids or six-eyed alien goats with lasers? Pew, pew, pew!
Yeah, that's what I thought. Asking yourself those questions and getting back an answer is the first hurdle to cross in the race to get off this world. Sounds like you are ready to venture out, to put this place behind you.
So crack open one of my books. Take to the heavens and let me shout this out to those who remain: "Watch out universe! Another Human is on the loose!"
So far, I have read through book #3 of the Hadron series and intend to continue reading until the end. The series itself reminds me of the Robert A. Heinlein "Juvenile Series" he did from 1947 to 1958. As a child, I really enjoyed reading these stories when in Grammar school. The story lines in the Hadron series are perhaps less hardcore SciFi and more tailored toward the audience that Heinlein was writing to during his years at the end of WWII and up until he wrote what became Starship Troopers. So far, if you are looking more for a story like "Stranger in a Strange Land", you probably won't find it here. Still, to stimulate an interest in old style Science Fiction stories, I believe these books can do this nicely.
Started out pretty good, interesting storyline, but don't think I can finish the series. Everything about it is well done except the main character, he's pretty much an idiot, and while the story is engaging I just can't continue reading about a moron supposed to free humanity from alien overlords. He lacks guile, intelligence, confidence, and common sense. Everything else about the series is good, well written, entertaining, humorous, just personally I can't stand the naive, low self esteem, bumbling hero that seems so prevalent in so many books nowadays.
I read this one because book one was good and I decided to give it one more shot hoping book three wouldn’t be as bad as book two. Unfortunately the book was painfully slow with way too much talking and not enough doing. I’m done with the series now.
A great, action packed book with the descriptions of the all to human response to the invasion. There is further definition of the Galactic Union; human/alien conflict, human/human conflict with good, evil and unbelievable naive responses on the part of our heroes.
Found this, the third book in the series, hard to put down. More twists and turns than a snake and just as tricky. A great plot and more alien races as well as humans all trying to control earth and the human race.
It was a good series. My only complaint was the ending. I would have liked it to be more drawn out-a bigger story. I found the ending of the series to be abrupt.

As sequels go as good as the first. I just can put these books down. If you like space adventures, aliens and humans at their best you will like this series.
Much better than volume 2 of the series. I'm intrigued enough to press on with the next volume. The author keeps throwing in plot twists to keep things interesting.
