I came to this planet sixty some odd years ago. After exiting my mother's portal, the doctor slapped me around until I started breathing the oxygen. I'll admit, at the time, I had no idea what I was doing or where I was. Being an infant Human, I was completely reliant on the responsible actions of others. It was a time that I have largely forgotten.

I reside in Central Florida with the wife and children. After thirty years in engineering, my time is now spent chronicling the adventures of fictitious heroes. They are off-world, fighting the good fight. For me? I'm stuck here on this planet in this feeble existence that we Humans are all forced to endure.

So, I ask you this... do you wish to escape the bonds of this surly planet we call Earth? Are you looking for a bit more adventure than what the grocery store has to offer? Do you worry about being enslaved by alien androids or six-eyed alien goats with lasers? Pew, pew, pew!

Yeah, that's what I thought. Asking yourself those questions and getting back an answer is the first hurdle to cross in the race to get off this world. Sounds like you are ready to venture out, to put this place behind you.

So crack open one of my books. Take to the heavens and let me shout this out to those who remain: "Watch out universe! Another Human is on the loose!"

Take care and I hope you have a great day!

Stephen

I read this book in one sitting!

The first and second books were very good, and caught my interest. I was able to get the rest of the series on Kindle Prime. This 6th book in the series has gotten hooked and lead me to wish I could have found the means to study physics instead of business administration when I was in college. Studying physics is now a "hobby", and Stephen Arseneault has done his research. I and reading these books on my Kindle, and checking references available online. Good for general sci-fi, but some of the stuff in these books is possible. Seems that Elon Musk is one of the few people who believe it!

Good read

This, the fifth book of the series, tended to be a bit slower paced than the earlier books. It also showed a deterioration of empathy and a willingness to use nuclear weapons for mass destruction rather than negotiation or defensive actions. There was more exploration of the galaxy and new civilisations encountered. Earth is now in the process of rebuilding and generating a larger population.

Great ending to first part of the adventure

Most of the original stories and side stories are resolved on this volume. There were some good resolutions. As always seeds are left for new adventures to continue on to the next volume. I know it will continue in its action packed manner with mystery and humor. Love the characters in the story.

Hooked on This Series

I am completely hooked, the character development is great and I can't put the story down because I want to see what happens next. It's got a little bit of everything - action, humor, family, friends... I really enjoy this series.

Great series. Well written.

I loved the characters in these novels. Then action is almost continuous without being overwhelming . A literate writer who doesn't disappoint.
