Travel through time to the post-Civil War West. You'll be captured by the history and the magic in this time-travel romance. Book 1 in the Soul of the Witch trilogy.
Reader warning:This novel contains violence, adult language, and situations.
Very well written. This paranormal romance is book one in a series of three. If you also like time travel this is a good one. The doctors think Courtney is having delusions resulting from an accident but she actually travels back to 1875, to the man she loves...
I read this series through kindle unlimited and am very grateful that I was able to do so.
This book, and this trilogy is everything a fantastic paranormal romance should be and more. The writing is flawless, captivating and page turning. The story is fantastic. The story arc absolutely does not end with the end of this book, and in fact I enjoyed treating all 3 books in the trilogy as one long novel. Thank goodness I discovered the series after all 3 had been published!
There are so many paranormal romance books out there. This trilogy is one of the best I've read. If the beginning of this, the first in the series, is somehow confusing as some reviews suggest, I urge readers to stick with it as it is absolutely worth it. The time travel/past/future lives is prominent in this book, but the subsequent ones include many other paranormal/witchy aspects.
Once I picked up this book I couldn't put it down. I would have read it all in one sitting but work and sleep got in the way, haha. You start with Courtney waking up in a hospital but wanting to go back to where she was when she was not awake. The doctors think she is having delusions but she know that she went back to 1875. We then follow Courtney/Nichole back to 1875 for most of the book. I really want to see where this next book takes its readers.
*Thank you Hidden Gem for allowing me to read this for my honest opinion*
This author writes beautifully. She hooked me from the start. I laugh out loud, cried emotion tears and reading Passage made me want to hurry to get the next book in the series. From there, I held on to my seat and enjoyed a fun and chilling ride through the entire set.
A great story that kept me turning pages. A near death experience pushes Courtney finds into a past life in post Civil War west. The descriptions of the old west and life there are vivid and well done. The characters had depth and I loved the building romance between Nikki (Courtney) and Merril. The twists at the end are wonderful. I’ll be first in line for part 2 of Soul of the Witch.
I love love love this story. The characters, the situations and the locations are all so well defined I felt like I was living the story. From the moment she appeared on the page Amy was my favorite. I was already excited for the release of Book 2 and now that I know my fave is the main character I'm very happy I only have to wait a couple more days!
It’s a good book, with a different story, but very well written! As I’ve got it in kindle I was just reading it when in treadmill, and was getting on it for more time just to read... lol With the book stores full of fairies and vampires it was good to read something more normal, even Nicks’ are nothing but normal... very entertaining!
I loved this book! I'm not usually into time-traveling type books, but this one was quite well done. The characters were awesome, the plot was well-laid out, and I cannot wait to read the second book.
I loved this book. Once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. Imagine living in two different time periods. Being haunted by the love you left behind. Loving someone so much that you could be pulled back through the ages and into his arms once again.
