Night's Deceit is Book 2 in this 5-book series of Vampire Magic.
I am ARC reader for the author. What a great exciting book this was, once again, full of adventure, couldn't put it down. A twist, you really are drawn into the book, and cannot wait for the next chapter. Now I am waiting for book 3 I am so excited wondering what will happen next. Hoping you enjoy the book as much as I did.
Night's Deceit is the second book in the Vampire Magic series. It picks up immediately following the events of the first book, so it is highly recommended that those interested in this book pick that one up before reading this one. Callie finds herself in the last place she wants to be - the elusive fae territory. In the meantime, Logan finds himself having to prepare to fight to protect his kingdom. Those closest to him aren't what they appear. Callie eventually makes her way to Logan and their bond continues to grow. With Logan distracted by the struggles in his kingdom, Callie grows concerned that no one is taking the time to search for her missing twin sister. She is approached by someone willing to help, which leads to her getting seemingly closer to finding her while making a big enemy of the fae princess. Readers wind up gaining a bit more insight into fae side of Shadowland. One thing I appreciate about this series is that the author is taking time to develop the relationship between Callie and Logan. If you liked the first book, I recommend picking this one up. On to Book 3.
The second book in the Vampire Magic Series. Here the story starts right where you left off in the first book. There is more character development- especially with the Vampires, and you get to meet some more characters in the series (some good and some evil).
I did enjoy reading the book and can't wait for the next instalment as it is left at a cliff hanger, the adventure is really just starting.
Will Callie and Logan's relationship last or continue to blossom? and Will Noah get to find his crush Rosamon (and Callie's Sister).
As with book 1, I could not put it down. So many twists and turns and a shocking betrayal!!! I can't wait for book 3!!! I don't want to say any more for fear I will give too much away!!!
Nights Deceit has draw me in to this series much more than the first book! I need to see what Callie ,her twin and the Prince future holds..... book 3 here I come!
Ok, so book 2 is heaps better than book 1. Full of action. Faster paced. Characters have started making more sense and become more interesting and complicated. A good read.
