From beginning to end, this is more than a collection of poetry. This is a glimpse into one poet’s exploration that we all can relate to.
AUTHOR'S
In my opinion, it is the poet's calling, indeed the artist's calling to bleed their process all over their particular canvases; pretty or not. In sometimes bold acts of shameless self-revelation, poems can be cathartic and purifying if their job is done well. They can allow us opportunities to see ourselves in their lines; awakening possibilities and changing perspectives. They are resonant frequencies that tell us we are not alone with thoughts and feelings we may have hidden in shame and give us the courage to allow our True Selves out into daylight.
I have divided this volume into six sections; with the intention that many will recognize and retrieve pieces of themselves within. Let us meet here in these lines, share our journeys and heal.
ABOUT THE
A lifelong Poet, Writer, Artist, Musician and Psychic Medium; Heather Kim Rodriguez resides in Las Vegas, Nevada where she owns and operates Zen Rose Garden with her husband and partner David Caren. Heather is gifted in the Holistic Healing Arts and is a certified Spiritual Life Coach, Hypno-Therapist, CranioSacral Therapist, Usui Reiki Master and Mind/Body Integration Specialist. She holds a B.A. in Art from UNLV and at present is pursuing Doctoral Studies in Holistic Healing and Psychology.
Zen Rose Garden is dedicated to the empowerment and self-realization of the individual through Body-Mind-Spirit Integration Therapy. As a team Heather and David utilize a wide variety of Healing Modalities including Reiki, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Soul Retrieval, Shadow Work, Fear Release, Mediumship, Intuitive Guidance and Spiritual Life Coaching to assist and empower their clients. In addition to their private clients, they present several workshops a year on a variety of Spiritual and Metaphysical Topics.
