This is a great guidebook to one of my favorite vacation destinations, Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This lovely town is about an hour south of Cancun and is full of European tourists, great Mexican food, and beautiful beaches right next to reasonably priced, quaint hotels. I'm going back again for a week vacation on June 6, 2013 in case anyone else wants to join me for week of relaxation and reading on the beach!

Excellent resource, organized in several ways: geographically, by activities, budget, and practical info. It provided lots of great ways to plan my trip, and every recommendation was spot-on. Could never have found that great hotel in Playa without it! Also includes little extras like Spanish words, a suggested packing list, brief histories of each destination, and a whole lot more. My only complaint is that it could have used more maps, especially for some of the larger towns. Other than that, I'd say this book is an absolute must if you're traveling to this part of the world.
