Very Insightful & Touching

I recently started listening to The Black Phillip Show and became interested in the life of Patrice O'Neal. I came across this book by his wife to be & loved it. I thought his way of thinking was incredible and knew it would be interesting to read the perspective of the woman in his life. I was not disappointed. Von highlights several of Patrice's ideologies and relays them in a way that a woman can understand. The way Patrice put things was already simple enough, but Von makes it more palatable if you find Patrice's approach too crude. The information is incredibly profound, yet simple and straightforward. Simply put: if women can work to not let their ego and emotions control them, they will have room to understand their men & have a greater chance of having a wonderful, fulfilling relationship & life. I couldn't finish the last chapter without tearing up.
