CEO Lincoln Cage is not having the best time in his day right now-- his drone design was leaked and he is has a bitter relationship with his ex-wife when he was attempting to get custody of his 6 year old daughter Madison.. His ex wife has stormed back into his life and his office, abruptly giving him custody of his daughter. So now he has to juggle being the best parent he can for his little one plus find out who the leaker is that is trying to sabotage him and his company. Into this arrives Samantha Harper . She is an engineer who is working with Lincoln’s company. Sam has some daddy issues which sort of play into the story. She wants to prove she is a great asset and knows what she is doing. Lincoln feels this immediate connection to Sam and she feels the same about him. They build into a steamy, passionate office relationship but will Lincoln want anything to do with Sam when he finds out who her father is? Is their relationship doomed or will Lincoln see that Sam is perfect for him and his sweet daughter? I liked the fast moving plot, the witty humor and the sexual tension in this story. I also enjoyed the great connection that comes across in the pages between Lincoln and Samantha. This is a quick read and I found myself sad when the story ended. Great emotions and passions that come across and I loved how the story ended. On that, I did feel that was rushed but overall, this was a good story.

Author River Laurent writes exciting and entertaining stories with complex characters you'll fall in love with instantly. And this is no exeption. It is a sweet, steamy and engrossing read. The plot is fresh and well executed and the storyline makes you root for a beautiful HEA all the way through.
The author has written a delicious male character and a magnifisent femal character. I loved Sam from the very beginning, she's smart, headstrong, sassy, intelligent and sexy without making an effort.

This is the 1st book I've read by this author. I loved the twists, and the steam that River has delivered in this book. I can easily say that I will read more of her work.
Single father Lincoln Cage runs into issues with work. Co-worker Sam comes picture to help with work. The chemistry between the characters are so hot and steamy.

Scintillating office romance with a side of corporate espionage!
First of all, it was quite refreshing to read a single dad romance where the love interest was not the nanny. This author’s books are always unique and inventive, even when utilizing a familiar trope. This wonderful love story has plenty of heart, plenty of heat, and quite a few surprises along the way.
In this truly original story, Lincoln is the founder and CEO of a tech company and Samantha is one of his senior engineers, new to the company but clearly a genius at what she does. Lincoln has been plagued with security leaks that have allowed his rival competitor to steal his designs, and it all comes down to the project that Sam is currently working on – if they can get it working properly in time, they’ll have the upper hand against the enemy and save their own company in the process.
Working so closely together makes their undeniable chemistry impossible to ignore, and these two really know how to set fire to everything they touch, especially each other. Adding to the tension is the fact that Lincoln was unexpectedly handed custody of his young daughter, who takes to Sam instantly while reminding Lincoln of what’s really important, and why he works so hard to make his company succeed.
The secrets are revealed brilliantly, with the reader discovering the truth – or part of it – along with the main characters, yet at the same time we know something they don’t, which keeps the tiny seed of hope alive as the characters work through the misunderstandings and accusations. It’s necessarily and understandably brutal, but it leaves them with a long, long, hill to climb to restore their shot at a HEA.
This romance is a real page-turner, a non-stop read that had me yelling at my kindle one moment, then cheering for the characters just a few pages later. I loved the two epilogues and the way they touched on the different aspects of their HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Lincoln owns and runs Guardian Technologies but when one of his projects gets stolen out from underneath him he starts to get more hands on with his latest project. He juggles work and having time with his daughter when she is suddenly dropped in his lap unexpectedly. Lincoln always wanted his daughter but his ex wouldn't allow it so he wasn't about to question why she was giving her to him now. Sam Harper is a recent hire to the company as a senior engineer and she works tirelessly to fix the issue with the current project they are working on. Lincoln and Sam butt heads several times however they both want them same thing in the end so late one night they work together to solve the problem. When they do they celebrate by having sex. Sam can't believe she slept with her boss and hopes it doesn't make for a bad work environment. Lincoln can't believe how taken his daughter is with Sam and wonders if maybe it was a mistake to take her down to the lab. With the conference coming up Lincoln is on edge and then when he sees Sam getting into a car with his biggest competitor he wonders if she is the mole in his company that they've been looking for. Is Sam a spy? Can Sam and Lincoln have a relationship with so many trust issues?
This was an amazing story. It was well written and very entertaining. I was even surprised by who the mole in the company was. The chemistry between Sam and Lincoln was sizzling hot. If you aren't a fan of this author before reading this book you will be one after.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. This is a must read. It's well written and easy to read. All Samantha ever wanted was her dad's love and to prove to him that she was worthy of it. She became an engineer and got a job at her father's rival company. She was working on a secret drone product. They were having problems with it so she had to deal with the CEO, Lincoln. She thought he was an arrogant jerk, but her body thought otherwise. She hated to that she was attracted to him.

This is a wonderful, entertaining book to read and I absolutely enjoyed reading it. What you will find in the story "Single Dad" is: a arrogant boss, a feisty female senior engineer, a ex-wife who does not want responsibilities, a young child, drama, intrigue, corporate espionage, sarcasm, disagreements, dislike, sadness, verbal abuse, betrayal, lust, love and erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought out and written. The characters are well developed and entwine well with each other with regards to the situation they find themselves in and react with fears, doubts, needs and desires. There are other stories in this book which are also well-written and entertaining with drama, intrigue, humor, lust, love and erotic scenes.

Lincoln is in the middle of a hot mess when his competitor steals his latest plan. He is under the deadline to get a prototype working and needs the help of Sam. Sam is everything Lincoln wants but shouldn't touch as her boss. She also ignites a passion within him he has never experienced before. Trying to launch his new droid, having his ex release custody of his daughter, and fighting is attraction to Sam is enough to drive Lincoln mad but when he realizes Sam is the right woman for him will he cease the opportunity or blow it up before it truly gets started.
This was good but I didn't quite understand Sam's animosity towards Lincoln. Overall entertaining but a bit predictable.

To make matters worse his ex-wife has barged in his office. But it gets better when she gives him full custody of their 6 year old daughter. He just has to figure out how to get through this crisis while he keeps his daughter happy.
Sam has been trying to work out the over heating issue with the new drone but can't seem to figure it out. After she and Lincoln come to a very heated arguement they are able to figure it out. After the type of relationship she had with her father she wants to prove she can be successful in her field. But what will happen when Lincoln finds out who her father is? And who is the mole?

Lincoln, the CEO of a technology company is having a bad day. His company has just been hit with corporate espionage, by his rival and he stands to lose everything. On top of that his bitter ex shows up and gives him total custody of their six year old daughter as she leaves the country. Further problems develop when he suspects his top engineer Samantha of being the leaker. Samantha is brilliant and they're like oil and water, although the attraction is there. No spoiler here, but a fast paced story that will keep you entertained and page turning. A great read that is well written with strong characters and an entertaining storyline. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

This was a really sweet and sexy smoking hot read.I am a sucker for a good single dad romance and this was a really good one.When Lincoln ex-decides she no longer wants their daughter as she is going off with her new fella he is left trying to juggle being a full-time daddy to adorable Maddie while trying to figure out the problems his company are having with his latest drone and who has stolen his latest design all while trying to fight his attraction to Sam who he is always butting heads with.This was a good read I just loved same she was a hoot and did not take any nonsense from Lincoln, he grew on me throughout the book and he really did love Maddie.

River Laurent has delivered us another well written book that is an enemy to friends book that will have you intrigued from the first page. Lincoln and Sam have the chemistry to blow up a room and at first they don't really like each other so much. When they can't fight the sexual attraction that they have for each other will it change the way they live their lives. Well you're going to read the many twists and turns to find out for yourself. Every book that I have read from her I have really enjoyed and they keep getting better and better. Enjoy.

Sam and Lincoln are perfect. They both had issues in their lives but learned to rise above them. Sam never felt live growing up and as an engineer she wasn't highly respected. Lincoln's rd drops off their daughter and moves to Europe with her new man. Poor Maddie is just tossed around like an object instead of child. Lincoln swears to be the best father he can but has to keep Maddie with at work til they are done with the drone project. Times are stressful as a leak steals their plans. This book is sexy, thrilling and has an amazing happy ending. Used KU to read and review this book.

Single Dad by River Laurent was sweet and sassy. Lincoln is a single dad of a 6 year old named, Maddie. He lives and breaths for his work. Will Lincoln be able to dial back on work and spend time quality time with his daughter? Sam is an engineer that is working on a very special project for Lincoln. Sam and Lincoln have a lot of chemistry even though they didn't start off on the right foot. He's arrogant and domineering . She's focused and determined. Can these two manage to have a relationship while working together? Secrets will be revealed and friendships tested. How will this story end? I thought this book was sexy, intriguing, suspenseful, and meaningful. Another terrific story by this author.

Lincoln has a leak in his company. He has no idea who it may be but it could ruin his company. He is also suddenly given custody of his six year old daughter. As he is trying to be a good father and find the leak. His new employee Sam has caught his attention for some reason. Beautiful and smart are just a couple of reasons. Excellent book about espionage, family drama and the love of two people and one little girl. They all just want to be loved. Grab this excellent book for yourself.

I received an ARC copy of this book and I have read and reviewed it. Therefore giving it my voluntary and honest review.
This story was so beautiful that I couldn't put it down until the end. It was bascially a story about TRUST and how hard we have to fight to keep it and respect it. Lincoln and Samantha's story showed that trusting can be a hard thing. And looking beyond the surface can show us many beautiful things. This is a must read story.
This story was so beautiful that I couldn't put it down until the end. It was bascially a story about TRUST and how hard we have to fight to keep it and respect it. Lincoln and Samantha's story showed that trusting can be a hard thing. And looking beyond the surface can show us many beautiful things. This is a must read story.

Extremely entertaining, captivating, and interesting read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
