Memorial is a short story that was originally available through Kit Rocha's Patreon page where you can sponsor the author and read a short story every month. After six months these stories become available on Kit Rocha's website so you can now read this one for free. These stories aren't meant to be standalone, they're written to give fans of the series a chance to catch up with favourite characters and just give us little glimpses into what's happening in this world now that the main series has finished.

In Memorial we get to see Emma and Noah remembering the people who are no longer with them, Emma's brother in particular. This story has quite a melancholy feel to it and was sadder than most of these short stories have been but it was still sweet to see how strong they are as a couple and that they are so supportive of each other.

I love how Emma and Noah take a day that holds so much sadness for them and turn it into something to remember in a good way. It seems like it was a long time coming and only by leaning on each other do they have the "want" to do it.
