Neon Dark Episode 3 Operation Apex: One Equals many

Successful in her mission, Jayda has been promoted to a high ranking position within the company. Her replacement Nicole has been tasked with capturing the large Azologoth, but Black Faction's attention has turned to their new program. Operation Apex. The action heats up as the numbers left at the base dwindle down to the last few women all the while ayla seeks her revenge. Neon Dark is visual smorgasbord of stylized visual effects & smoking hot characters set in a dark, gritty dystopian future where women venture to the island of Mallera-9 to work for the evil corporations Black Faction Corps & Caterina Private defense in their pursuit for Neon Dark. Sometime in the not too distant future the ultra large Pacific collider went online, causing an inter dimensional rift beneath the island where the detection station lay, Mallera-9. What followed was the worst catastrophe in human history and single biggest loss of life. Earthquakes, Tsunamis, violent storms and increment weather plagued the world for months until the rift stabilized. When scientists returned to the island, the background radiation made all the men sick & eventually killed them, leaving only the women. Discovering that the radiation only effects Y Chromosomes the task of exploring the island was left up to women. Strange creatures began to appear throughout the island, originally thought to be mutations it was quickly established that they were from another dimension, complete with their own Eco-system to support themselves. Given the name Azologoth, they use tentacles to pull prey in to be consumed. Ground based they are hard to see until its too late. Eventually the women exploring the island & its new habitat figured out a way to incapacitate the Azologoth, making their way deep down to the entrance to the Maw, where they discovered a strange, black glowing substance that would become to be known as Neon Dark. Neon Dark has essentially no mass but immense energy, from another dimension it doesn't fall in line with our dimensions laws of physics. Neon Dark thrusted humanity into a new technological era or limitless energy and interstellar travel. But out of all the places in the explored galaxy, there is only one place where Neon-Dark can be found and that is on Mallera-9. The element is priceless & eventually scores of women were recruited to work on scouting and extraction missions, battling Azologoth & eventually companies battling each other over the element. *sigh*

What little respect I had for this series goes out the window completely with this episode. In the previous episodes all the soldier units were completely mindless and did not question their orders but immediately accepted them. However in this one they need some more story, so now the soldiers question and think before acting on their orders. However that just allows more cheesy terrible dialog that really isn’t necessary.

And exactly what I predicted would happen in my first episode review of one side running out of soldiers and being overrun due to their carelessness in preserving soldiers lives has happened. It would be a fitting end if the person who had done all the wasting was there to take the bitter pill.

This is just more softcore porn with squatting women in bikini’s and a spread eagle shot to boot.

This one has the most spelling and grammatical errors of the three. Really simple words like “one” being misspelled. How do you misspell a three letter word and not catch it in editing?

Again as with all the others in the series it has DRM. Overall I would give it a 2/5 but it has DRM, so -1 for that.
