Mistakes are made by both, but when the truth is discovered, the pair is thrust together in unimaginable circumstances. They must work as one to search out answers for Evan, and secure a future for Summer’s species, but are they strong enough? Or will forces set into motion thousands of years before, keep their destiny from being claimed?

Is the man too mature to pull her tiger by the tail?

Older human male / younger tiger shifter female mate romance novella

As with every “human male” mate romance story, the man has to have something extraordinary in his background, as there can never be a het/mf romance where the man doesn’t bring close to equal (or more) power to a female paranormal mate, even if she is a powerful shifter. Apart from being a slave to that trope, it’s a decent is mostly typical romantic shifter novella, with the nice twists of the human male mate fit within the bounds of this relatively rare trope, adding a bit of an age gap and the requisite heretofore unknown power of the “human” man emerging as the story progresses.

It is nice to see a strong female shifter who is concerned about protecting her mate, and a male initially with less power than he realizes going shifting into protective mode himself, prepared to provide whatever power he has.

I bought this book at the first Indie Authors Down Under in the Gold Coast, and since I hadn't read it yet and I was fed up of unpacking my boxes I sat and started to read...
Other than a spelling mistake that got me a bit confused on the second paragraph in chapter 1 after I worked out it should be HER not his I got into this short story. I also noticed that in the Authors pack world she has the Alpha being the Brother of the main character Summer, who's father runs a law firm rather than running the pack.

This is a short read that is obviously part of a serial about the Hope Valley Pack, which is a group of tiger shifters and is based about a prophecy made 2000 years ago about when the last of the white tiger shifters mates with another paranormal species.

Summer Ashcroft is the White Tiger shifter sister of the Alpha, who has watched from afar as her human mate - Evan Mackenzie ignores her or treats her like a sister, her frustration mounts until one night when she agrees to go to a party with Brad, a tiger shifter who has been wanting to take her out for a while... Fate ensures that Evan is there when Summer needs him most.

The Romance is swift once Evan stops ignoring the feelings that he has had for Summer since she turned 18, now seven years later when the realisation that he could have lost her opens his eyes to the truth, and there is no stopping the pair from mating.
A secret unveiled, reveals the prophecy is unfurling, will this mated pair survive?

I enjoyed this short story and quickly became engrossed in the story as it unfolded, and I wonder what will happen now the prophecy has begun...

Together they will become part of a prophecy where the ending is yet to be told!!

I really enjoyed Claimed. I found the storyline compelling and the dynamics between the characters pulling you deeper and deeper within in the pages. If you love a good shifter story I would definitely recommend you add this to your TBR list

Evan MacKenzie took over his father part of the business after his parents death, he also took on the responsibility to care for his younger sister.

Summer Ashcroft is a school teacher. The younger sister of Sage the Alpha of their clan, their bloodline is one of the rarest breeds and part of a prophecy that could save or destroy them all forever.

Evan has always kept his distance from Summer as he continually compares her age to the sister he raised. But when Summer is put in danger Evan must decide what he wants and just what he is willing to do for it. As the prophecy becomes reality it will take all of them to trust in each other and Evan will need to be clear of doubt if he is to protect what is his.

Lovely story about Summer and Evan who through their mating start a prophecy that was foretold 2000 years ago.
If you like shifter stories you will enjoy this one. Cant wait to read other books in this series.
