Dead Camp Five: The End Game part 2

Rate this book
Everything must come to an end, and as Eli contemplates the loss of Malachi in a London ripped apart by war, he knows that the final battle looms ever closer.

Where is Ethan? Eli can feel him, their love for each other calling through time, but History conspires to keep them apart as Morbius uses him for the final game.

Desperate to find a way to end the war, Eli once again delves into the distant past in search of answers, but as Jack the Ripper taunts him from the pages of his dead lover’s diary, Eli is left despondent. So many lies, so many terrible secrets bleeding across his memories, and all of it to keep him safe from the fingers of those who would destroy him.

Love. All of it for love. So much lost, and all of it because of love. As Eli says goodbye to London for the last time, he can only hope that love will be enough to end the madness.

He has a plan to rescue Ethan. An audacious plan and it will take all of History by his side to see it through to the bitter end. It is time to break Ethan free from the bonds that enslave him, and as they hurtle towards Berlin, the final sacrifice begins.

I think that as I approach that milestone that is fifty, I must be one of the oldest gamers on the face of this earth. Many a day you will find me lashed to my PS4 enjoying a good session of Skyrim. Who doesn’t love a good session of Skyrim?
I love writing—I have done it since I was a child when I would happily write about the latest episode of Doctor Who (Tom Baker in those days) in my schoolbooks. Growing up and becoming a business owner with my friend Jayne left little time to pursue my dream of publication, but of late the desire and the compulsion to put words onto paper have once again dominated my life so that now, my laptop has become surgically fused to my fingertips.
There is something desperately satisfying about telling a story. My fascination with History, Religion and Conspiracy theories have, in this instance, gone hand-in-hand with my love of all things vampire, fantasy, sci-fi and horror. I drove my parents nuts when I was young because that was all I would read about in books, all I would watch on television, but they have held me in good stead, and long may my obsession with the subjects continue, at least, that is, until the day they put me in my own wooden box. And imagination is such a wonderful thing. I once had a rather vivid dream about David Tennant and the Tardis console, but I could not possibly go into details about that here. Let’s just say that my polarity was well and truly reversed.
Dead Camp is just the beginning. I have to check my knickers every day at the thought that this book is now in the public domain. My first book, and I hope the first of many. And to those out there who love to write, who love to transport us to new worlds, or old worlds with a twisted perspective, I say to you keep going. I never thought I would ever see my work available to download, and thanks to eXtasy Books, the dream that I always thought unobtainable has finally come true. So thank you all at eXtasy, I am one happy homosexual thanks to you, and thank you the reader for taking the time to read this strange tale and allowing Eli and the incomparable Malachi into your lives.
And now I really need Skyrim.

This book was the ending to this series but by far the best of all these books. I was on the edge of my seat thru the whole read. I could not put this book down. It is definitely one of those series that make you want to read it in one sitting. Sean Kerr is truly an incredible author. He made this series one that left you impatiently waiting for the next book and once it was over I could not believe that it had come to an end. This is a series that I wish could have gone on longer but I know that every good thing will eventually come to an end.

In this book Eli has to figure out what it is that he has to do in order to reach the man that he loves and has loved for many lives over. Ethan has been taken by “The Mother”, “The Father”, and “Morbuis” to use for his direct blood line to God. His blood is what helps to make not only “Hitler” stronger but the “Quellor Demon” as well. This is the plan that they have put in place to take over and turn everyone to the evil side.

Eli has to go back over his past and relive some of the most hurtful parts of his past in order to figure out exactly what it is that he has to do to save not only humanity but the man he loves. It is not going to be an easy effort and it is going to cost Eli and those that help Eli to accomplish the tasks at hand. Not everyone will come out alive and some may lose those that they love most.

In order to right the wrongs of evil, sacrifices will need to be made and many lives lost. The question is, in the true battle between good and evil can Good Win Out In The End? Can love be what save lives?

As I said this is one of those books that leaves you breathless in the end because you feel as if you are there with the characters through it all. Sean Kerr has more than a winner with this series, he has a home run. This is definitely a recommended read. I truly look forward to more books by Sean Kerr is the future.

So there are 5 books in the series... Eli is the main character... Eli has a love of his life... but they have hardly any scenes together? I kept reading each book and thinking, “maybe the relationship will progress in the next book” and it never happened. I found myself indifferent with the ending because I really didn’t know the relationship? So much of the book comes down to that relationship, I just wish I got more of a sense of it. Other than that, god damn was this a good read. I was thoroughly invested in the plot line. Very impressed with how well the author writes an action scene. The developing of the world in this is fantastic. The reimagining of tales many have grown up with and giving them a very interesting spin was my favorite too. Worth the read

OMG..Wow..What a ending to an amazing series. I'm still reeling at what happened. If I haven't said it yet this author is a brilliant writer. The emotions as you read will have you spinning I don't know how to describe it. I loved the action scenes and everything that comes with this.. Highly recommended.
Not even 5% in this book and I'm laughing with the characters. Eli is in London to put and ending for once for all with Mother or try too. Where is Ethan, his beloved. Annd Daniyyel is still playing games.. The struggle with love and hate or the abnormal and normal between the God and Angels and Human feelings.. Yah I'm gobsmacked speechless and maybe a little sad too. ..
