Christina Saint is a walking demon magnet. Born into a long line of dream walkers, when a creature from hell is in possession of a human’s body she can see it in their eyes, and she can destroy them in her dreams.
When she comes back to town after attempting to run away from her problems, she finds they’ve only multiplied. Her best friend is being distant, the guy who broke her heart is angry with her, and the casual fling she’s trying to avoid wants to be something more, but these are the least of her problems.
The real kicker is the Wrath demon running rampant in her town, quickly creating a serial killer out of his human host. Discovering her target has a blisteringly inconvenient case of insomnia, she has her work cut out for her.
There’s only one way to destroy a demon. Entering the dreamscape is a necessity, but this time it’s going to take dealing with the human too. She’s going to have to risk life and limb to drag a murderer back to hell, and she needs to try and keep her new job and deal with the aftermath of leaving town at the same time.
Welcome to Tina Saint’s nightmare. Meet the first of Seven Deadly Demons in the new urban fantasy series from USA Today bestselling author Sharon Stevenson.
I'm the twisted mind behind The Gallows Novels and the After Death Series. If you want to know a bit about me, here it is: I spend too much time indoors and probably watch too many horror films. Some of my favourite things are; Alone time, people who know when to shut up, having a drink, eating pizza (usually after having too much drink the night before), reading books, adult swim cartoons, bad horror and sci-fi movies, proper good TV shows like Dexter & The Walking Dead, and last but not least having a laugh with my hilarious other half - this would usually include some of the above.
This brand new series is rather fascinating in concept. The main character is intriguing in her abilities. Dealing with deadly sins as demons is genius especially by dreams. The story moves along nicely and the glimpses into the past and what makes her tick are great. I enjoyed the character of Mason and think he will be of great use as the series develops. A wonderful read. I volunteered to read this book.
I loved this new series start by Sharon Stevenson! It is different from her other series, but there is still a lot of paranormal. I like the idea of a dreamwalker that kills demons in a sleep dimension. This of course, causes a lot of problems in her waking life. The book is well written and carried me out of reality and into the fantasy world she created. I am going to enjoy following Tina along as she fights the demons of the 7 deadly sins along with Mason.
This book was ok. I liked The World created by The author. Dream walking thing is something That catch attention. Characters were Good. Secondary ones added a lot to The story. Events in The book and pace seemed a Little too chaotic for my teaste. With intriguing World next books in The Series will be read by me.
