Wow, what a ending!

True wasn't the best I think, but I still think it was pretty great!

Rilla faces many dangers in her mission to rescue Prince Alec, Armin's brother. But her mission will involve more heartbreak, betrayals and frustrations then she has ever encountered!

There was no epic battle this time, which was a shame but meeting her real father made things very complicated for her!
It seems that her life will always be a mess when she meets relatives or new individuals. What's worse is the shocking revelations she will hear by her friends and her many suitors!
But who can give Rilla the real happiness and love she deserves?

Such a great conclusion, although there is hints that this series can continue. Pretty excited, because Rilla is awesome!

Highly recommend this series!

Recieved a copy for an honest review, thank you!

Good ending

I enjoyed this book. Things were wrapped up nicely with so many twists and turns. Quite creative. There was still so much that went wrong all the time, but the way it ended was great.

This series got progressively worse with each book. The Kingdom needs a serious recheck by an editor, not only for grammar, but for consistency as well. There are paragraphs where things are stated two or three times. In other parts, Lord Bluebeard's wives are changed and mixed up from human to ogre and back to human again.
The endless violence, bipolar attitudes, and utter childishness irritated me to no end.

For my clean readers: violence-murder, torture, and attempted rape. Mild language. Romance-kissing, allusions to sex, and blackmailed weddings.

Good story

Lots of action, and great heroine. I would recommend this book. Like more romance but action makes it pretty good.

The seventh installment of author Cordelia Castel’s Seven Kingdoms series picks up where its predecessor left off, with Rilla having restored the statues of her father Prince Evander and his fairy brethren to animate form, although the prince isn’t exactly happy to reunite with his daughter, who loses a subsequent fight challenge against him. Rilla leads her companions to a village whose babies elves have stolen, and promises to rescue them. Early on, Evander seals off his daughter’s fairy magic and alters her form to become more reflective of her ogre lineage, although a Kiss of True Love can restore her standard stature.

As Rilla seeks someone to kiss, she and her companions venture to Elf Mountain, which non-elves term Mount Magma due to being a volcano, although the King of Elves initially refuses to return the stolen babies. However, the chance to relocate to Bluebeard Mountain changes the elven monarch’s mind, although when they leave the mountain, they find forces from the Alkahest Alliance awaiting them, having taken over the country in a bloodless coup. Rilla ultimately needs to infiltrate the Academy in Metropole, with some twists abounding in the last few chapters, an epilogue occurring three years later and ending the initial plot arc of the series.

All in all, this was definitely one of the better books in the series, given its initial inciting incidents with Rilla’s father, although there are some events towards the end, one critical, that somewhat eluded me. The action is generally good, although before the main text, a synopsis of the book’s predecessors would have definitely given those who have briefly broken from the series a chance to catch up and receive reminders as to the crucial events of the narrative. The ending is definitely satisfactory, given the time skip from the main events of the series, and while the story isn’t great, I do definitely express interest in how the plot of the characters continues.

The Kingdom is the seventh and final book in The Seven Kingdoms series. This would make me sad except for the fact that Ms. Castel has more to tell us about Cendrilla, her adventures, her friends and foes, and her kingdoms. For this, I am thankful. Why, you might wonder? Seven books in a series is a lot, right? Even Harry Potter ended after seven instalments! While that may be true, there seems to be so much more to know about these characters who reside in the Known World. After all, the residents there are from Fairy Tales and Lore - stories abound!

The Kingdom completes numerous storylines. Who is still trying to harm Cendrilla? Did the Snow Queen escape her enchanted prison? Did she have allies? What kind of relationship does Cendrilla have with her father? Does she choose between Armin and Lord Bluebeard? What about Captain Coyote and Prince Vanus? While all these questions get answered, others are created or left with the possibility that there is more to learn. What happens to the stories of all the secondary characters?

Make sure to get The Kingdom! You won’t be disappointed and I’m sure that you, too, will be thankful that Cordelia has much more in store for Cendrilla and company and for us!

Absolutely amazing! Another great story by Cordelia Castle about Rilla and the amazing group that helps her. This has so many twists and turns that it will have your head reeling, but in a good way, lol. It answered so many questions but also left a few hanging. That is ok though, I would love to read more about Rilla and her group. Once again the story is amazing, the characters were so fantastically developed into what the have become. This will have you getting mad at people for how they act but also show how well people can love. This is most definitely worth reading and will not disappoint. I voluntarily review an advanced reader copy of this book.

The Kingdom is the final book in The Seven Kingdoms series by Cordelia Castel. As a conclusion to the series, this book is everything I could have hoped for. It picks up immediately after the previous one's cliff-hanger ending (as has usually been the case with each book), and wraps up all loose threads -- including who Rilla finally decides to marry! -- while still providing a final adventure in Rilla's story arc. (Note: I am keeping my review vague as to avoid any possible spoilers.)

Now that all (revised) books are available, I would highly recommend this series, especially if you are able to read them all at once.

An amazing conclusion!!!

Cendrilla's adventures come full circle in the seventh and final book of the "Seven Kingdoms" series, but not before she has a ton of adventures. Finally everything falls into place, but not without leaving a few open issues begging for answers. Once again Cordelia navigates us through Cendrilla's world, with well developed characters and a unique plot, that twists and turns weaving a whole new world. Like with all books in the series it addresses issues of diversity, stereotypes and cultural understanding, that everyone can identify in our society as well. Five stars are not enough!!!!

Just... same review as The Seven Kingdoms #1

Except - the misspellings, punctuation, and incorrect tenses increased as if Castel couldn't stop writing to get this story out of her head, much like the characters here can't stop for literally anything.

But I am upping my rating for all the books to 2. I did have to acknowledge that Castel doesn't gloss over the ugliness of people and that physically ugly people can be the most beautiful. Full of tropes still? Yes. Still an an unending oh gods please just stop for more than a day? Yes. Am I picking up speed to near skimming and not missing literally anything? Also yes.

Everything is not as it seems.......

More mystery and suspense as well as a whole lot of drama. Rilla destroys the Snow Queen, frees her father (who takes his hate of her mother out on her), goes after elves to rescue babies that they stoled, puts down a coup and gets her man. But will she get happily ever after?

Wonderful series of right and wrong, standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves and finding true love. Young people finding themselves and finding out what they are define to do.

That was a wonderful, incredible and very satisfying way to end the series! All the questions have been adequately answered, our beloved Cendrilla finally achieved its happy ending and as usual, the bad guys received their deserved punishment and the good ones were compensated.
This has been one of those rare stories that you want to never have an end, to continue reading the adventures of your favorite characters.

This book was provided to me at no charge. My review is given freely.

I'm not ready for the Seven Kingdoms series to end. My heart has been broken by every man in this series who was at any point a good guy. Every. Last. One. The Kingdom is an appropriate ending to a great series, and I was glad to read that Rilla's adventures will continue at some point.

Edge of the seat read

As before you will not be bored. You will be severely disappointed if you don't have the next book on hand to find out what happens next. Will Rilla ever find true love? Sure she married but not to the one who truly possesses her heart. I am amazed by how many people betray her. Will she ever be able to live a normal life with peace and joy?

Happily ever after???

Cendrilla has finally found the man of her dreams. It only took seven books (with a few detours to fill in the details.) this book is a very satisfactory conclusion to the series, but not without room for the saga to continue. I can hardly wait to read what comes next. BRAVO!

Oh wow, what an ending.

Finally the happy ending she deserves, but not until we has to do more missions and battle more betrayal.. this story is the best yet. Couldn't get enough... On to the next !!!

Just when I thought things could not get worse but it ended very well. I love what happened to her in the end. Did you know there are two more books -- the frozen heart a must read about the snow queen, and the bluebird. Highly recommend all of the books.

Rilla's journey ends here and what and ending it is. The storyline keeps you interested until the very end and Rilla finally gets her well deserved happy ever after.
