A very well-constructed art workbook with clear instructions for anyone interested in learning (or relearning) to draw. I spend an hour every night drawing noses, eyes, faces with this workbook. It's become my meditation. I highly recommend it!

One of my goals this year was to get better and quicker at portrait drawing, and this book definitely helped. It guides you through a clever & intuitive process for quickly sketching a likeness, and also has sections diving into more detail about specific features and the face as a whole. Having blank spaces within the book for doing exercises makes the learning process that much easier. I would've loved to see a bit more content about developing your own style, but it's still a great introduction to the fundamentals as it is.
