In this volume he does a mighty awesome job when Haruyuki is fighting against Wolfram Cerberus that it felt like the pages just go by in a total flash, but on the other hand, it felt like a slog when it was difficult and challenging to follow in the fight that followed that and the one that came before. In my view, it seemed that the only motivation to get through those fights was to see how the plot would resolve.

I did enjoy that Kawahara handled multiple characters fighting against a single opponent, the girls and the eyeball, really awesomely that it was enjoyable, epic, and just as good as some of Haruyuki’s own fights.

Plot wise, really loved getting Black Vise and Acceleration Research Society motivations and details, and enjoyed that Metatron had a role, though wish she and even Black Vise spoke a bit more. Both went silent for periods of time that seemed odd.

Really pumped for V16.

A really enjoyable novel! Kawahara really focuses on in-game plot which is nice, and the storyline captivates the reader to need to know what happens next throughout the story, as well as needing to get the next volume. He fulfills a lot of things that that were foreshadowed, and really advances a lot of different plotlines coming together.

Awesome! Need more!

A lot of tension created in this chapter. I cannot wait to read the next one as soon as possible.

It's terrible. Worst volume of all the series so far. It has about half of the pages of the other volumes. But that is not it's main problem. It summarizes, resummrizes and explains and reexplains details that the reader already knows. This constant copy/paste of things that the author has already explained is extremely tiring and truly maddening.
As far as the story goes, the bad guys never die, never get punished or pay the consequences of their actions. It's not a credible story arc. It stubbornly tries to recreate past experiences with the SS Kits and the Armor of destruction (mark 2).
Probably the worst is when the author tells the story (same story) two, three times, from the perspectives of the different characters.
Reki Kawahara is the author of the Manga-anime Sword Art Online. It's much better written than this. It doesn't have as many repeated summaries as here. It's sad when you find someone and something you think is going to be good but it ends up totally dissapointing you. I highly recommend Sword Art Online, but Accel World from about volume 10 on is badly written with too many copy paste summaries of what already has happenned.
