I may be an avowed bachelor, but I’ll never let down my best friend. Not even when he asks me to play the boyfriend of his little sister to thwart some crazy family superstitions.
I mean, she’s a royal wedding planner who needs a date. How hard can it be?
hard.
Worse, the bright, beautiful and all-grown-up Grace Floros suddenly has spine to spare, determined to defy my most logical suggestions. Good thing our engagement is only make-believe…

This is the most sweet and romantic book in the series. Lucian starts off as an arrogant, condescending and smarmy jerk. But the longer he hangs around with Grace, the softer he becomes. He becomes a sweet, chivalrous, romantic and caring man. Grace is determined, thoughtful and sensitive. What starts as a fake love affair, and aided by the Queen, these two become my favorite couple of the series. The mix of a technology geek and a traditional, superstitious girl turn a royal wedding into a brilliant event, and sets up a captivating and romantic storybook ending. I love this series and it should be on everyone's TBR list. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
I really adore this series - it's humorous, it's sexy (very hot scenes!), and you fall for the characters the more you read! I loved being able to learn more about Garronia, especially the superstitions and curses (and how to avoid them), and this was a great story! I also loved being able to catch up with the original Gowns and Growns series and see how their lives are progressing. I loved it all. :)
