Eight months in a surreal world with musician Tim Lawson, left Alyse Little both in love and in trouble. With a positive pregnancy test in hand, Ally makes the only decision she can, leaving both Tim and her drug addiction behind. After relocating to a new city and raising her daughter as a single mother, Ally finds her way to a new life, new friends and a new relationship. But moving forward isn’t easy, when the man you love and his band are everywhere.

Tim never understood why Ally disappeared, leaving behind only a note with no explanation. While his band, Hazed, rises to the top, Tim falls to the bottom, desperate to see Ally one more time. With pressure from his bandmates, Tim is forced to move forward and let go.

But the past always catches up with you, and secrets always take on a life of their own.

This book started out very strong for me, a solid 4 star.
a broken relationship, drugs, pregnancy, a new start in a quiet town. A doting and understanding boyfriend, a hot, famous baby daddy... then ... it lost steam. Mainly because (for me) It wrapped up much too tidily, it was angst and grief and loss .. then magically its all forgiveness, sexytimes & plot holes.

without giving up spoilers ..a main character who played a huge part of the storyline...had a massively significant scene... *poof* never mentioned of again, and to be clear... this particular scene/character was very important .. like, big time.. it needed much more clarification & closure.

Last complaint (?) comment (?) was the page setup was a touch confusing... there was no page break to let you know the timeline had changed, one paragraph was a sex scene... the next was a week later. Occasionally took a little bit of rereading to grasp what was happening.

All & all, This up and coming author has a ton of potential, her writing is smooth & keeps you entertained the whole time.

I can honestly say I am
looking forward to more from Nicole.I feel like her writing is only going to get better and more polished.
