God has created you to be confident, bold, and free -- free to be yourself, free from the need to compare yourself to others, and free to step into His destiny for your life. In today's busy, fast-paced world, it's easy to forget the need to slow down and live in the present, while holding on to personal "baggage" that's keeping you from being the woman God created you to be. But this powerful daily devotional, revised and expanded with new insights, inspirational quotes, and practical action items, will help you on your journey toward a confident life filled with love, laughter, and God's acceptance, one day at time.

Not what I thought it would be.

At first, I thought it was really great and inspirational. That may be because I started reading it in May. However, when 2013 rolled around and I started from the beginning, it began to talk about men and how different women are from them. SOME women are different from SOME men, that's true. But Meyer seems to have this idea that men are all the same and women are all the same, and that there's one way to deal with all men. This is completely and totally untrue. Every single male I know has to be handled differently. Some are as sensitive as how Meyer portrays a girl, while others are immature and childlike, while still others are how Meyer describes them. It's just the weeks that I spent praying her prayers about having 'patience' and 'understanding' with men that got under my skin. It was very stereotypical. I did like the other prayers, though, and the days post-May were inspirational.

I love all Joyce Meyer's books, in particular, the devotionals (365 Daily Inspirations). I own each one in hardcover for my home library collection. They are beautiful and great for gift giving. She has a God-given talent and a strong female voice. A big fan of Joyce Meyer!

One of the world's leading practical Bible teachers and leaders, as well as a #1 New York Timesbestselling author of over a 100 inspirational books—she speaks from the heart with daily messages to inspire and help guide your journey.

As the author mentions in her introduction: "Women are a precious gift from God to the world. They are creative, sensitive, compassionate, intelligent, talented, and according to the Bible, equal to men."

But in our world today, many of us women have lost the confidence God wants us to enjoy. Joyce leads us through her personal experiences and her journey with God, to help us as women overcome our obstacles. This powerful devotional will help you become the woman God intends you to be.

"Bold, courageous, confident, respected, admired, promoted, sought after, and most of all, loved."

Each day comes with one page (365), including a short opening scripture, a few paragraphs, and a prayer. No matter your schedule, each day only takes a few short minutes (whether you use the reading for morning or evening). It helps me start my day on a positive note with thought-provoking words, scripture, and prayer.

If you are looking for a perfect devotional to start your morning on a positive note, highly recommend each of her Daily Inspirations. The Confident Woman Devotional is one of my favorites and will empower you to be the woman God intended.

Note: The devotional is coming out in digital format 09 Oct 2018 (Currently offered on #NetGalley for request - 9781546009924 - book bloggers #Faithwords). Revised and Expanded Edition. I grabbed it, and look forward to reading the new revised (new cover) digital copy (love the hard copy -2011) and still refer to it often.

This powerful daily devotional will help women on their journey towards a confident life filled with love, laughter, and God's acceptance, one day at a time.

Excellent spiritual devotionals for practical, daily implementation within your life. I love Joyce Meyer's prose. Her publications are always easy to read and digest. A few of the devotionals made me yell out AMEN (well more than a few did). I enjoyed reading through them all at once however, my plan is to re-read them once a day for the next 365 days.

I received an advanced review copy (ARC) of this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

A page a day was the goal and although I little late in this year I did finish it. Joyce always has wisdom for me so I appreciated all the lessons on this book. Highly recommend.

This is a really good devotional. I found it very easy to read, mostly because of the way Joyce Meyer communicates her points. Usually, it's common sense stuff that has some biblical scripture to back it up, which I found quite useful, because common sense isn't always common sense. A lot of the things she spoke on, like trusting God and seeking His approval rather than everyone else's and learning how to take responsibility for your own faults and mistakes, hit home for me. There were some things she said that I didn't totally agree with, or I was confused about the message because I didn't feel that the scripture and the devotion for certain days really matched up, but those were few and far between. This devotional was very helpful to me during some of my struggles and it also gave me something extra to smile or think about even when my struggle wasn't so hard. I would definitely recommend this to any woman.

I haven't read the whole thing, but I wasn't impressed with what I did read. It's possible I am just not the audience for this. I am not finding anything new or helpful in this. Mostly I think "duh!" when I read these, as in, of course, I already know this. This seems more like a self-help book than a devotional to me. To me, devotions need to be about learning about the Bible and worshipping God, not about taking charge of my life and becoming all that I can be. I am not saying there isn't a place for that, but a devotional isn't one of them.

An uplifting daily devotional that applies to modern experiences, backed up with biblical truths. I love Joyce Meyers ability to speak life over women and encourage them to be their best self in Christ. This devotional is no different and I found it an encouraging way to start the day. I've always been a fan of Joyce Meyer's woman-centric spiritual teaching. Most religions or interpretations of religion tend to be patriarchal. Because of societal reasons, I believe women need a more specific spiritual guidance. Joyce Meyer's The Confident Woman Devotional: 365 Daily Inspirations is a good book for that type of help. Each day provides a thought, an accompanying biblical verse, and a suggested prayer. Even the most confident woman needs shoring up, so this devotional can be good for all women. I gave my copy away as a gift, but I wish had kept it for myself.

A dear friend gave me this book. Meyer is the only television preacher I can stomach, as she is plain-spoken, entertaining, honest and (let's face it) a snappy dresser.

Each page in this book has an amplified Bible reading, a devotional story and a prayer for the day. I have been pleasantly surprised at how useful the advice and information is and can completely understand why my friend gives copies to so many in her circle.

Highly recommended -- even if you just read the devotional story, you're sure to get a lot out of it.

Excellent journey into the history and the traditional roles of women. With an inspirational message for the modern woman without male-bashing. The purpose is to help women gain more confidence and determination in reaching their full potential in becoming the women God intended for them to be.

From my point of view, Joyce Meyer just seems to understand Christian women and to know how to encourage them. This newly revised and expanded edition of her daily devotional, The Confident Woman Devotional is just gorgeous in raspberry pink leather with silver edges and a ribbon marker to keep your place. It would be an especially nice Christmas gift this season for any Christian woman that you love and admire.

The Confident Woman Devotional is a 365-day full year devotional. Each page has a Bible verse, a short reading written by Joyce Meyer that will give the reader pause to think and reflect on their Christian life, and ends with a short prayer to pray. The devotional also begins with a short introduction which focuses on how God sees you. There is also a short reflection to start each week giving the reader something to do and focus on. This devotional is based on Meyer's #1 bestselling book, The Confident Woman, which is written to help woman live a life of confidence based on God's acceptance and love--feeling free to be who God created them to be.

The Confident Woman Devotional is truly gorgeous, really inside and out. This is one book that you truly can judge by the cover. I think reading these readings every day for a year would make any woman more thoughtful and more reflective in how they live each day for Jesus. I found the readings to be thought-provoking and encouraging. I would recommend The Confident Woman Devotional to any woman who wants to grow in her faith. This book also comes in a hardcover edition that is a little less fancy and less expensive if you want to give out several to a Bible study group or any other group of ladies.

I finally finished this book. It took so long because I stopped reading it and got behind. I read her Confident Women book first and then decided to get this. So glad I did because it was needed in my life.

It was an interesting read. It talked about powerful women throughout history. It seemed to be more of a self-help book rather than a devotional. It is all about women empowerment and having self-confidence, which is something I already possess. I wanted to grow closer to the Lord and have a true devotional book, which is my reason for purchasing the book. But I guess I need to focus on the bible and look for another devotional. However good effort.

I enjoyed using this devotional daily through 2011. Based on Joyce Meyer's book "The Confident Woman", it is not necessary to have read the book to gain insight through these devotions into many of the challenges facing today's woman.

I love this book because through the usage of Bible verses, each day gives you the "confidence" to know that God will always love you. A must have on your bedside table before or after you tackle each day. For the most part, this can even apply to men!
