Adam has a sinister plan that involves America’s Princess, Grace Delaney. As he takes step toward fulfilling those plans he must determine if Grace will be able to withstand all that he has in store for her. With a deadly past and generations of influence and wealth behind him, he is unstoppable.

Grace was sweet and docile yet chafing to break free from the prison she has lived in all her life. Watching her grow from that meek personality into a woman who is willing to do whatever it takes to protect those she loves was as beautiful as it was angst filled.

I loved the way Adam protected Grace, even from his on machinations, never understanding why he did so. He was scared for her to see the monster inside him and was often afraid he had driven her away. That bit of insecurity made me love him more.

This was a nail biter of a story. The further into the book I read the more intense the action grew. The obstacles this couple faced were fraught with danger and life and death choices.

This is not a fast read and admittedly there were several instances where I skimmed over introspection that had already been previously shared. However, it is an amazing story with mystery and intrigue, a feeling of darkness in the beginning and a wonderful love story to pull it all together. There was some push and pull from the heroine, but in my opinion, it was completely understandable.

Altogether a great book which I would instantly recommend to anyone who likes a nice long read filled with drama, suspense, plenty of steam and romance.

Compelling...I could not put it down 5+stars!

Originally offered as a serial, Chosen is now complete in this edition. And so happy that it is because once I started reading, the words just pulled me into the maze and I was immediately captivated. Ms. Litton paints this story with such intensity that it grips you and makes you ravenous to learn what Grace Delaney and Adam Falzon face together against their own powerful family clans.

Chosen is erotic romance at it’s finest. It’s equal parts action-packed thriller, suspense, erotica, and romance. I love the in-depth characterization, the richly descriptive scenes, and the sizzling passion between Grace and Adam that seemed to pour right off the pages. Beware there are triggers of a certain nature. Some parts were hard for me to read and had my heart pounding. What started out as a dark, twisted story ended as an exceptionally passionate and consuming romance. But what an engrossing read that had me smiling with satisfaction at the end. I highly recommend this book for fans of romance who like their erotic romance dark and smartly written with an intriguing plot. OMG...this book was amazing. Chosen by Josie Litton was an intriguing, intense, gripping novel that will grab you from the start and will not let you go. The plot, the characters and the writing was so well put together that you will be hooked with each and every page.
This story had dark elements at the start and sensitive readers should be aware. It was provocative, mind blowing and twisted at times.
In spite of everything, the main characters Adam and Grace had such an attraction to each other that the intensity of their chemistry could be felt through out the pages of this story. I loved them. Both different yet so perfectly suited to each other.
With really hott steamy scenes, romance, suspense and so much more, this story will keep you up through out the night wanting and needing to finish reading it. It will take you through a range of emotions so be warned. This novel was a phenomenal read and I would highly recommend it.

Grace is abducted and forced to endure harsh captivity, she suffered there badly. But then suddenly she started enjoying sex with her captor Adam. They had met a few times before but she didn't know that Adam had kidnapped her. Their chemistry seemed forced.

I kept reading hoping it would get better, and to a certain extent it did. Sometimes the pacing was very fast and sometimes very slow. The blurb was promising but it didn't deliver.

I'm glad that this has been released as a complete edition it is a great read, this is a dark romance and has lots of emotions in it. The characters are written brilliantly, I didn't want to put this book down and really enjoyed it.

Once again I am not disappointed by a Josie Litton book. She never ceases to amaze me by her captivating tales and her wonderful knowledge of human nature. This one is my favorite. It is sexy, sensuous, provocative, twisted, dark and scary as heck.

Grace is an innocent and her family and Adam Falzon use this for their own purpose, and Adam for his own pleasure. The things she has endured in her young life have shaped and molded her in ways she doesn't understand, but throughout the book, she exhibits wisdom and courage beyond her years.

Adam is a powerful man. He is gorgeous, virile, demanding, and a threat to Grace. He uses her, exploits her, and sexually and psychologically abuses her. This is not a lighthearted love story by any means and it may be a trigger for some, but if you can stand the heat, it unfolds into a beautiful story I couldn't put down.

It is mind bending and mind boggling to comprehend the depths of depravity power has in the wrong hands. Sometimes even in the right hands it can still be dark and foreboding. This is truly a struggle between good and evil. There were times I wasn't sure how good or right could ever win out.

Thank you Josie for an awesome read. I loved Grace and Adam so much. Adam certainly is the stuff fantasies are made of.

This was quite an exceptional book and a pure pleasure to read, even though there were some dark moments here and there. Nevertheless, as a whole these didn’t detract from the overall storyline. Grace and Adam were never supposed to be together; initially it was all just revenge as far as Adam is concerned. Nevertheless, the more time they spend together the more they become attached to one another, and Grace eventually accepts Adam for more than the monster he is. This book may not be to everyone’s taste and while it may have triggers for some, I found it quite a captivating read, and certainly a book I would have no hesitation in recommending.

The Delaney family is ruled by their Grandmother and their power and influence is ruthless. Grace is not like the others; she has strength, courage and compassion. When Grace overhears her Father and Uncle talking about Patrick and the secrets he has found out, Grace is determined to get justice for him no matter what. Adam comes from an old world family going back centuries. When his parents were murdered, Adam sought revenge. He was only 15-years old at the time and killed everyone involved in their murder; he is a controlling man, one to be feared. Grace and Adam meet at a fundraiser and Grace has an immediate attraction to Adam; an alliance such as theirs is just what her Grandmother would approve of, since his families’ wealth and prestige was even better than theirs. Adam realises Grace is not like the rest of the family and because of that he knows she will be able to endure what he has in store for her. Adam finds that Grace is at odds with what he expects, but nevertheless he puts his plan into action. Uncle Ned is Grandmother’s favourite son, never once paying for all the atrocities he has carried out. Adam uses Grace as leverage, going to extreme lengths during her capture; but no matter what Adam does to Grace her strength and courage never waivers. Grace’s Grandmother refuses to comply with Adam’s demands, until one final debase act changes her mind and she relents. But Adam doesn’t get the revenge he really wants for his friend and mentor Rolf. Eventually Grace is released, but never lets on who her captives were. Meanwhile, Sebastian challenges Adam for leadership, but what is supposed to be a fair fight is anything but, leaving Sebastian with animosity, and a thirst for revenge. When Adam returns to New York, he and Grace meet up, but when Adam hears Sebastian is in New York, he knows Grace is in danger and takes her back to his ancestral home. Knowing all the hidden passageways in Adam’s ancestral home, Sebastian mounts an attack and when Adam is injured, Grace sacrifices herself for Adam and becomes Sebastian’s hostage. Adam is eventually able to rescue Grace and they come up with a rouse to return to New York to finally get justice for Patrick. But what they discover leads to far-reaching repercussions. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Wow just wow this book is intense, dark, powerful, brutal yet at times sweet, loving, caring. It's definitely a book for readers who like dark edgy books that contain kidnapping, torture, mind games. It may have triggers for some people. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down. This book is about Grace Delaney who was dubbed "America's Princess " she is from a very powerful political family. From the outside life looks great. Unfortunately Grace couldn't sleep and overheard something that changed her life.
Adam Falzon is the head of a very wealthy and powerful family who has ties all over the world. He is feared by everyone because of how he became the head of his family. He is known to be ruthless and cruel. He is out to settle a score and Grace is in his sights.
Grace' family is all about money, power and image. When Adam shows interest in Grace her grandmother (she holds the power in the house) is thrilled because of his standing in society. It didn't matter that she was giving her granddaughter to a man everyone feared.
Grace is stubborn, caring, honest, and selfless. She is willing to put herself at risk to right the wrongs of her family.
Adam is bound by old traditions and his loyalty to his family and staff he will do whatever it takes no matter what the collateral damage will be.
The chemistry between them is combustible, intense, raw, dirty. Grace has trouble fighting between what her head says and what her heart desires. This story has so much in it from intense darkness, brutality, anger, mind games, lust, love, selflessness, kindness, even love. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat dying to know what will happen next. Don't miss out on this action packed beautifully written suspense filled dark romance!

I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review. Well this series will be tough to write a review on. It was amazing to read. The lies, deceit, murder, political intrigue, kidnapping, challenges, all within one highly wealthy and politically founded family. The Delaneys. It all began because Grace found out that her beloved cousin Patrick was murdered by her own family because he discovered some damning evidence. She was determined to vindicate his death. In the meantime Adam was seeking justice for his right hand man Rolf and it had to do with one of the Delaneys. This was so well written. The suspense had me reading page after page. It took me three days to finish reading this book. It was all I wanted to do. The pace was medium. The characters really came to life. I could not have spent my time any better. The heroine, Grace, suffered emotionally as well as physically. I don't know what to call Adam if he was a hero or not but he did follow a code of honor that went back hundreds of years. I may say it sometimes reminded me of an eye for an eye. The romance between Grace and Adam started out as dark as dark can get. How she was able to forgive Adam was beyond me. But she did and he ended up proving worthy of her forgiveness after he went through his guilt phase. There was real passion, heat and eventually love. You absolutely have to read this series. You will not be disappointed.

A Touching and Scintillating Read. A touch Dark, yet exquisitely Written!!!

Thank goodness I received the entire edition all at one time! This keeps you on the edge of your seat and greatly anticipating the next page. An interesting exposition of the powerful Delaney family, and a look at events which have been swept under the rug to maintain their reputation.

When an even more powerful force enters the equation in the form of Adam Falzon, perhaps the only ethical Delaney, Grace, is captured in a spider’s web of intrigue. Captured and manipulated to right a wrong against the family. Grace does not wilt under the force of Adam’s will. Adam grows to admire her spirit,
“I want every part of you…” “Your passion, certainly, but also your intelligence, your reason, that
cool, refined self-control that you wear like a mask.”

When circumstances change, Grace does not turn on Adam. She is suffering, but mostly in her loss of Adam. When he makes himself available to her, she cannot stop herself from going to him. When Adam is gravely injured, Grace puts herself in danger to save him.

Powerful story of family, responsibility and a level of intimacy which bonds these two together in a manner which is overwhelming. Entirely captivating and vastly entertaining.

"A thrilling and darkly sexy tale!"

I received an Advance Reader Copy for CHOSEN: The Complete Edition (Allure, Books # 1-7) written by Josie Litton and voluntarily reviewed this book. Grace Delaney was truly raised and coveted by society as a princess. But this princess has a family which may be much, much more than what it dares to show in public, and Grace is no longer sure if she can secure a future being a well-used pawn to appease her family’s supreme greed for wealth and power. It is not until she meets the enigmatic Adam Falzon, whose reputation proceeds him, that she feels her life is going to change.


Adam has a plan, a plan to avenge anyone who had ever hurt his family. As head of the Falzon empire, he has a specifically carved duties, and one is protecting all those near and dear to him. Meeting Grace and incorporating her into his plan was at first just a means to an end for him, but he didn’t count on her beauty inside and out, braveness, courage, and dignity. Nor did he count on what an utterly indelible impression this young innocent woman will make on his heart.

I must start by saying that I would not have read this story in serial form....I hate cliffhangers and am far too impatient to wait before finding out what happens next....luckily I didn't have to!

This is a dark read from the start, parts of it are very bleak and make uncomfortable reading, but the darkness is balanced by lighter moments, and it is so well written that I felt I was there with Grace and Adam, seeing what they saw and feeling their emotions.

The plot is well conceived, and it is difficult to tell who are the baddies and who are the good guys, the boundaries are blurred, just as they often are in life. The pace of the story is fast moving and relentless.

There is kidnapping, violence, sex used as a weapon, family secrets, and madness in more than one character.

This won't be every reader's cup of tea, there are possible triggers, but I did enjoy the story, due in no small part to the quality of the writing.

A great book. Loved the characters. Adam Falzon is every bit the sexy devil he comes off as with his dominate personality, sexy moves and dark background such a mysterious deadly nature really pulls you in and the steamy scenes, who said getting kidnapped was a bad thing, well not when it comes to Adam and his brand of torture, Seduction. I am completely hooked. America's Princess, Grace, is no slouch either, she’s not as weak as one would think, she has them all fooled including grandma dearest. Now about Grandma, the head of the Delaney’s, is awesome. She has them all cowering in her wake. To have grown men tip toeing around you, I know she is the villain but wow, MAFIA. Grace wants to go up against her family for the many wrongs they have committed and even Adam has reservations about taking on her Grandmother. Talking about a great storyline, it will keep you clued to each page until your finish. You should definitely get this book you will not be disappointed.

I was struck by how enjoyable this book was, despite its darkness. Josie Litton wrote a book that is dark and seductive, and tells the tale of familial bonds and bad deeds.

I was drawn into this book because of the suspense she weaved into the plot line. She developed Adam and Grace's characters very well, and allowed us to see their weaknesses as well as their strengths. I like strong woman when I read and Grace definitely is that. I would caution some readers that some of the scenes contained within the book might be triggers as there are some very dark moments between Adam and Grace. But despite the dark moments, their love for each other shows through, especially in Adam's fears even while he is tormenting Grace.

All that said, this book is exactly what I expect from Josie Litton - dark seduction combined with suspense and action. I liked it and hope everyone else will too. I received a copy of this book and did this review of my own free will. This is my opinion and mine alone

Josie Litton has another winner! I have come to love her level of darkness. It is emotionally disturbing in the best possible way. I actually FEEL when I am reading her stories, and this is the perfect example of that. There is love mixed with hate, there is betrayal mixed with honesty, there is anger, power struggles, hopelessness, I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the point. I love the way that the story surprises you and keeps you guessing. I love the gut-wrenching scenes that make my stomach cramp. I love that nothing is too dark, or too taboo. It is all there, just like it would be if you lived it. The words, the descriptions, the flow of the story, it is all perfect! There are somethings that could be triggers for some people, so don't say you weren't warned, but if you love dark then you will love this!

Where to start with this.... I absolutely loved this. Make sure you have time to read this one because your not going to want to put it down. This is a darkly beautiful, definitely not Stockholm syndrome, romance. There's kidnapping, torture, insanely insane rich people doing unspeakable things. I loved every aspect of this book, from characters, to plot, to the HEA.
Adam was an awesome alpha who had possession issues and a beast residing in him. Ruthless, cunning and determined to get what he wanted at all costs. I loved seeing his pov!
Grace seemed delicate and fragile through most of the book. However, when put to the test she surprises at every turn, not only by beating all odds but by striving through each challenge and moving forward.

Adam Falzon is the young ruling member of one of the richest and oldest families. He’s suffered major losses and was overcome with vengeance.
When Grace and Adam meet at an event, their chemistry is absolutely pulsing between them.
I cannot begin to explain how much I LOVED THIS BOOK!! Every chapter brought me closer to some answers while bringing up new questions. I was completely obsessed with this book! COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!!!

This book started it as a slow read for me, as I'm not typically into this type of book. At first, I compared this story to another author. But when I finally sat down and really getting into the story, it became so much more! I don't tend to read the darker romances such as this, but sometimes I find that I can't resist, and I'm glad I was given the chance to discover this story. I took frequent breaks between the first several parts of this book, just to give my brain and heart a break. This story was so draining on me physically, but was well rewarded as it got further into the story. I'm glad I took the risk and read it, and now u want to go right back in and read it again!!! Josie Litton did such an amazing job in this story!!!

I have to say, reading this entire story in one book was a little daunting at the beginning, but I am soooo glad that I was able to accomplish the task set before me. I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Grace and Adam and all of the adversity they had to deal with. Although the beach scene was a little hard to take, it was honest, real and raw. One of the most important things I read in this was the line about their bodies and souls knowing each other from the moment they met, even when she wanted nothing to do with him, her body craved him. A very moving story that will stay with you long after you've read the last word.

Josie Litton strikes again with a hit. Thank ye it is all together with no cliffhangers. Dark, disturbing at times with some lighness to balance but how it holds your attention and need to keep reading. An old political family with some nasty secrets, family and loved ones use emotional manipulation to control Grace's action and then Adam from an old world family with just as many nasty secrets decides that he wants Grace and is not above using manipulation to achieve it. There is a darkness that helps him to seduce Grace to his side as well. Well worth the emotional and sometimes uncomfortable moments. Get your copy and enjoy, I did!

Can a relationship begun with a kidnapping oozing hate and disgust turn into one of love and mutual admiration. You will find out in the story of Grace and Adam. They were each born into powerful families. Adam’s family having more power than Grace’s. Adam is determined to avenge wrongful deaths and Grace is the pawn he chooses to use to that end. Grace is aptly named she endures with grace and courage everything she’s forced to go through. This is another must read by Ms Litton. You won’t be disappointed in this book read it to find out if Grace and Adam can achieve their HEA. I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC of this book.

A gripping story, Grace and Adam have a true attraction and chemistry, but relationships not founded on honesty are hard to keep. I absolutely tore through this book, and it's wonderful that we get the complete picture in one place. Both Grace and Adam are more complex than anyone might guess, and I love how they are revealed as the story unwinds the mystery. This is a dark romance but this just kept me on my toes. I couldn't wait to see what would come turn after turn. Very well written, with phenomenal character development, this is a book that stays with long after the final page is read. Highly recommend for sure. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

Darkly Captivating
Captivate: to influence and dominate by some special charm, art, or trait and with an irresistible appeal. Having this complete collection to read at one time is unbelievabably helpful because once you begin this dark journey of power, greed, and madness you will not be able to put it down! Woven in to this erotic and suspenseful plot is an all-consuming love story that is so compelling you will find yourself as conflicted as the protagonists. Josie Litton has once again proven that her rich imagination and impeccable writing can transport her reader to any time or place of her choosing. First I have to say, I read each of these individually. Waiting for each book in series was nerve racking. But worth it!
This series is disturbingly good. Josie Litton's books are dark, disturbing and definitely a new twist on "Romance". A story of power, sex, hate and love. A look into the dark side of aristocracy.
If you are looking for sweet and sexy, this is not the series for you. I will also suggest that there should be a trigger alert. Nothing is taboo in this story.
No spoilers here. Highly recommend.

With how this story started I was very unsure if I would lime it or not but by the time I was 3 chapters in on part 1, I was hooked. We see that throughout the whole series we are always wondering why might happen next or are they going to finally admit to love. It's almost like a modern day fairytale. Power of old mixed with the wealth of new. I must say that if you want to read something that you have to know how it ends this is for you. Excellent read, 5 stars. Grace is America’s Princess, born into a rich and powerful family but it isn’t all it is cracked up to be. Grace’s grandmother rules her family with an iron fist and is good at covering things up. Adam is the head of the powerful Falzon family. He has killed in honor of his family before and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. Now he is out for revenge and plans to use Grace to get it. Adam is surprised by Grace’s strength and decides he wants to keep her for his own. Will he? Loved this read! Great chemistry and so intense. I was hooked from beginning to end.
