I bought this book out of simple nostalgia and is did not disappoint. The book covers some of the most prominent debut, returns and moments in WWE/WWF history. I can't say I loved the artwork in the book but I did remember most of the moments well (more WWF stuff).
I really do like the way these comics are written as if the "characters" played by the wrestlers are real. The book contains legendary debut, returns to glory, retirements, and some stories that are just there to fill space. It is really because of stories like these "Goobiltgook", that I took a star off.
One story I will I must coment on is the first one. The Montreal Screw Job. This is told from the Shawn Michaels character point of view, and paints Shawn as a bit of a victim here. This as a proud Bret Hart fan I cannot stand for!!! Yes it is no secret that Bret and Shawn were never good friends, and had a personal rivalry, and yes wrestling is a business. Though Shawn in his own words was VERY involved in the planning of the "Screw Job". Read the introduction of his first book Heartbreak and Triumph for an account of what happened.
Great to see my old faves and including "Phenomenal" new talent, we well as reliving great moments. Just slightly spoiled a bit by a couple of pointless stories and a bit too cartoony artwork. I wish the art work from the cover galley or cover art was used on the inside as well.

This one was a step up from the material that had been published before. The stories mostly centered on the Survivor Series events, and for whatever reason the stories were much more compelling. While the stories still present the backstories of the matches as "real" it was still cool to see things like the debut of AJ Styles, the Goldberg-Brock Lesnar rematch as well as some of the more obscure and older stories. The Macho Man-Ultimate Warrior story was hilarious, and in most of the issues I found the comedy stories to be weak these were genuinely pretty funny. The art varies but works for the most part. Overall probably my favorite volume of WWE from BOOM! so far.

WWE: Then. Now. Forever. Vol. 2: Another Fantastic Collection Of Tales Of The WWE Superstars
Wow, this book was fantastic! I had it done in two hours that's how good it is! But, to be honest, quite a few of the stories in this book are only one or two pages long. Even though they were brief, I still loved them.
The funniest story in this book involves The Macho King and Queen Sherri being chased by The Ultimate Warrior. I don't want to spoil the story because it should be read in order to enjoy it. I will just say that Jake "The Snake" Roberts also gets tangled up in it and it's hilarious! Once again, it's many different artists drawing the stories and different writers too.
There's a Ric Flair story in here and the artist for that story just did a phenomenal job drawing him and Mr. Perfect and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Even Psycho Syd looked awesome! I don't mean to do anyone an injustice here but there are just soooo many different artists and writers it's just hard to keep track of all of them. That's why there's a table of contents at the beginning of the book.
The last volume I only gave 4 stars because I wasn't too happy with two of the stories in it. This book gets 5 stars because there's not one bad story here. I just couldn't put it down. I haven't read a book like that in a long time.
But, then again, I love wrestling 🙂 💖! Once again, I recommend this for fans of the WWE and not just casual fans either. This volume really delves deep into WWE history and, if you don't know what's being referenced, then you're not going to enjoy this book. I'm a major fan and that's the main reason why I couldn't put this book down.
It dealt more with the past than the present and those Superstars from the '80s and '90s are the ones that I'm the most fond of 🙂💖.

A really nice compilation of short tales within WWE from now and then, from Montreal Screw Job's Bret Hart vs Shawn Michael, AJ Styles Debut, Machoman Randy Savage & Miss Elizabeth beautiful romance, Kane, Randy Orton etc. I enjoy it a lot For the most part except definitely Goldberg part.
