Amazing feats of the human and animal world are accomplished every year. In the 2019 Book of World Records, you can find the fastest unmanned plane, the longest music video, the biggest walking robot – and more! The collection of assorted facts from around the globe also has pictures of nearly every topic imaginable. The book is organized by themed section, such as music, on the move, super-structures, animals, athletes, etc. And, despite it being really readable and in bite-sized form, it also has some stuff you just might not want to know, either, like the world’s most poisonous mushroom.
This type of book is not based on chapters with a broad history of topics, but rather has a lot of bit-sized chunks of information on a variety of interesting facts in our world. Color photos help provide fun and insight into some of the crazier World Records, too, like pets with the most Instagram followers.
All in all I give this book 4 stars. It’s easily readable for all ages, and with colorful photographs it will appeal to children and adults alike. If you like books that are short and full of current, amazing feats of human engineering, activity and imagination, you’ll love the newest edition of the Book of World Records!

2019 book of world records was a good and interesting book that I enjoyed reading. it had many interesting and cool facts about different topics such as music, movies, vehicles, buildings, animals, the earth, states, and sports.

This was gifted to me by one of my 6 year old stepsons because he knows I love to read. It was a fast and easy read, mostly pictures with small captions. There were some interesting records in here, but a lot of the information was from 2017, even though it says 2019 on the cover. That struck me as a bit odd - and I’m sure some of the records have changed since 2017. Still a fun read, though! Would not recommend it. The book of world records is time sensitive and is something that would be best viewed online with the most up to date information available.
