Picked this up when second child was just one month old thinking it would be kind of a joke. Actually, the information isn't half bad and presented in small chunks, easy for new parents. The organization of information, such as it is, is a bit all over the place, with the smaller notes sometimes being related to the larger idea on the page and sometimes not at all and the order making it hard to find what you are looking for specifically, but as a leaf through it's an entirely enjoyable and occasionally helpful book for new parents.

Clear and concise information about the early stages. Easy to read and information is direct and to the point. A good one for dads who want an overview quickly and mums who want a little light reading after the dense tomes for pregnancy.

Not what I expected. The sequence of body language introduced has no particular pattern or reason. Some of the information are common sense. But I’m happy to learn some new facts at the same time.
