I used this book for ARTH111. It has a very easy language which makes it a lot easier to read. The stories are very cleverly represented. Woodford used very catchy stories which makes Greek Myth even more fun. Draws you into the history of Greek art.

This was an assigned reading for my Trojan War class and I was worried it’d be dry, but it absolutely isn’t. The text is 100% accessible, even to me, who is pretty new to ancient and classical history. The author is also very good about giving backstory on any myths she mentions.
