A blue sky. A good breeze. Today is a perfect day to learn, a perfect day to fly. At 85,000 feet, pilot Quiyang Perez's cockpit is a classroom for two with a beautiful view. His job: to teach the in-flight computer to handle difficult tasks. To think creatively. To improvise.

It's a day of trials, a day of training. A day of births and awakening. Today, man and machine will discover that sometimes the furthest distance is between those closest together, and that within mistakes lay the greatest lessons.
