Wedding photographer Briana Harper never expected to run into her ex at an engagement shoot! And when a blizzard strands them…alone…in a remote mountain cabin, she knows she's in trouble. She's never forgotten Ian Lawson, but none of the reasons they broke up have changed. He's still a workaholic. And now he's an engaged workaholic! But Ian is also still a man who knows what he wants. And what he wants is Briana. Untangling the lies of his current engagement leaves him free to…indulge. Yet proving he's changed may be this music mogul's toughest negotiation yet…
Andrea Laurence has been a lover of reading and writing stories since she learned to read at a young age. She always dreamed of seeing her work in print and is thrilled to finally be able to share her special blend of sensuality and dry, sarcastic humor with the world. A dedicated West Coast girl transplanted into the Deep South, she's working on her own "happily ever after" with her new husband and a golden retriever puppy.
Brianna is the photographer and part owner of the company called From This Moment on an elite wedding one stop venue, she and three friends set up their wedding company to help brides out there get the wedding they want. At one of the Monday meetings when the four friends meet up to discuss new clients and the previous weekends weddings she finds out that they have booked a big celebrity wedding for Missy Kline and Ian Lawson. What her friends did not know was that she was Ian Lawson's college sweetheart, and she was expected to take engagement portraits and then the rest of the wedding photos.
Ian was once the centre of Bree's universe until he started to work all hours and forget dates, birthdays etc so they split up because he reminded Bree so much of her father and she was not going to put up with that behaviour again. So nine years later, Bree manages to get to Ian's cabin on the mountain side even though the weather had turned treacherous and she steps out of her SUV to finally come face to face with him again.
Shortly after arriving at the cabin Ian gets a phone call from his fiancée saying that they have closed the roads and she can not make it. So that leaves Ian and Bree stranded alone and unable to leave until the roads are cleared.
Bree can still feel the attraction between them and she is worried about being couped up with him for days, but their is nothing she can do about this so she decides to enjoy her time at the beautiful cabin and to try to keep out of Ian's way.
Ian is the owner of a successful recording studio now but when Bree knew him he was a struggling musician, but his tutor told him to give it up as he would not aspire to anything so that is when he started to work at a recording studio all the time and this is how he lost Bree. So seeing her again brings up and reminds him of all the bad things that he has wanted to forget even though he has never been able to forget Bree, no matter how much he tried.
This is a beautiful story of deception, lies, forbidden attraction, second and possibly third chances. You are kept entertained through out this book and you learn about the characters past's and present. I love this, the first book in the Brides and Belles series and I can not wait for the next instalment. A Definite Must Read for all you romantics out there.
I received this book as an e-ARC free from Netgalley. Below is my review.
I really don't know what to say about Bree and Ian. Neither character really made me feel invested in their issues or their angst. It might have been that there is a lot of telling how they feel and not enough showing. It could be that they just don't resonate with me in general. Whatever it was, neither of them could get me to care enough.
Bree and Ian were a thing in college. He was a musician; she was a photographer. They both have Daddy issues. Then his college advisor tells Ian he is no good at being a musician and he goes from playing the guitar to dropping out of college and working 20 hour days, leaving Bree with nothing to hold onto. He blames her for ending their relationship. She blames him for being a workaholic like her Dad.
When Bree's wedding planning firm is hired to do the engagement photos for Ian and his lady love" Missy, they are thrown back together. And then it all goes off the deep end. Once the engagement is over (and I mean over like it never happened at all!), Bree and Ian make up for lost time sexually. But it's obvious both of them are second guessing from the get-go.
Emotion is definitely not the strong suit of this book. It skates over top of them at best and completely ignores them at worst. In the end, it works as a long set up for the next book in the series, which sounds quite intriguing."
This was a great reunion story. Wedding photographer Briana Harper never expected to run into her ex at an engagement shoot she had been contracted to photograph. Ian is marrying because his girlfriend is pregnant. While waiting for his fiance to show up a heavy snow descends and they are snowed in for a few days. The girlfriend couldn't make it through the snow. When Ian is determined to untangle the mess of his engagement he discovers he has been betrayed and cheated on, quickly ending the engagement. This opens up time to rediscover the woman he hasn't seen in nine years.
Bree is very concerned because nothing has changed the reasons why she left him all those years ago. Ian became like her father, so obsessed with his music career that he all but forgot about Bree and what she needed. He would forget dates, plans and anything else outside of work. She basically felt like a widow and chose not to live that way. Can Ian made the necessary changes to his life so he can win back the woman he still loves?
At least Ian is not twenty years older than Misty. That would be so cliche.
Five bucks says Missy is pulling a Lynette Pomeroy. (Read the book and find out.)
Sheesh, they were a dysfunctional couple in college.
College advisors suck.
Hey, I have a similar phone, and it works just fine, Ian!
Why can't you be both, Ian?
Bahaha, love the 90's show reference!
What I like about Ian is his willingness to jump right in and solve the problem. Too often we read about heroes who just say "the heck with her" and proceed to stay mad for the next hundred pages.
Wow, these are four screwed-up women. I predict a great series ahead.
I love the song! Ms. Laurence, you should record it for real.
I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Excellent reunion story. Briana is a wedding photographer and not exactly happy to find that her latest assignment is engagement photos for her ex and his new fiancee. Seeing him again for the first time in nine years shows her that the attraction is still there. Getting snowed in with him is the last thing she needs. Ian is surprised to see Bree, and also disturbed by her presence. He thought he'd gotten over her long ago, but he's discovering just the opposite.
The history that Ian and Bree shared exposed issues that neither had yet gotten past. Bree had left Ian because he became like her father, work obsessed to the point where he would forget dates, events, and anything outside of his work. Ian had been happy as a musician until his adviser told him he wasn't good enough to make a career of it. This brought back his feelings of insecurity, caused by the rejection he felt over his father's desertion of their family. He was desperate to do well at the record label job he got, and devoted everything to it, expecting Bree to understand. When she left, it was more rejection in his eyes.
Their forced time together at the cabin enables them to clear the air somewhat, and the end of his engagement, opens up possibilities for the future. First they have to be able to overcome those problems that tore them apart to start with.
I loved their time together at the cabin. Bree did pretty well coping with being snowed in, but Ian was a bit of a basket case at first. I loved their comments to each other about their individual technological lives. The Monopoly game was fun - I loved their "money". I really liked seeing Bree get Ian to play his guitar again. I felt bad for Ian when his engagement ended, not because it ended, but why. I was impressed with his willingness to do the right thing, and sorry for him when it backfired. It did free him up so that they could pursue their attraction and see where it might lead.
Once they return to Nashville, Bree is still wary of Ian's ability to change, but is willing to give him a chance. Things are looking up when they attend one of Ian's friend's parties, in spite of an encounter with his ex-fiancee. But things go downhill fast when a late visit by the ex at work delays Ian from making an appearance at Bree's show. She's hurt and furious and both of them say things that they later regret. I felt bad for Ian because he really had tried and Bree wouldn't even let him explain. I felt like she should have at least done that much, but considering she expected him to fail I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I loved seeing Ian's housekeeper fuss over and at him, and the motivation it gave him to go after Bree. His go big moment was sweet and romantic, and so nerve wracking for him!
Andrea Laurence is kicking off a new series called Brides and Belles where we meet four friends who went into the bridal business. Each friend has a special talent, and we are about to tag-along the journey as they find love.
Basically, Briana Harper (Bree) is the photographer for From This Moment and she had been given the assignment to photograph the happy couple at his cabin in the mountains. No problem up until she finds out that it's Ian Lawson and Missy Kline. Now Ian was an ex-boyfriend, and the relationship didn't end well. After all, he was starting to become like her father, and she didn't want to end up like her mother. Reasonable; except they never cleared the air.
Ian is a workaholic, who found himself knocking up one of his clients and decided he wasn't going to be like his father, and be in his child's life. However, this client is a tad bit manipulative and conniving. Here's my problem with Ian, he just accepts Missy words about him being the father of her baby. First off, if he knew she was conniving and manipulative wouldn't you want a paternity test. That's one the first things I would want, because whose to say she didn't hire some Joe off the street to knock her up. Now feel better getting that off my chest.
Anyway, Bree and Ian ended up getting stuck at the cabin. Eventually, everything comes out into the open while they are at the cabin, and it starts to look brighter for Bree and Ian. When they get back to reality things start to unwind, and will they be able to handle the cards they are dealt?
I enjoyed Snowed In With Her Ex, because you bring together past lovers that have unresolved issues and they are able to work it out. They both still had chemistry for one another, but trying to compromise is hard each of them. I already mention my one gripe about Ian. Overall, a pretty good read.
Oh, Harlequin Desire, how I love you. I read the synopsis for this one and immediately had to get my hands on it... because SNOWED IN. I thoroughly enjoy reading these kind of romances, watching two people who are trapped try to find a way out and discovering love along the way.
Briana and Ian have a past, and now they're together again with her taking pictures of him and his soon-to-be wife. Bad combination, right? It gets worse when the snow storm hits and it's just the two of them trapped at the cabin since Ian's fiancée, Missy, can't make it. Their past comes to the surface when she hands him his guitar, leading them to a not-so-innocent kiss. The guilt is short-lived when a lie comes to the surface about Missy...but what's next for Briana and Ian when the snow melts?
Snowed In With Her Ex was the perfect take on this kind of romantic tale. I loved seeing Briana and Ian come to terms with everything they're facing, past and present. Everything ties together, making the ending worth the journey. I'm very interested in seeing what's next in Andrea Laurence's Brides and Belles series!
Sometimes when reading romance novels it just feels like...if you have read one, you've read them all...They more or less follow the same premise. Boy mets girl, they have a problem, separate, realize they can't live without each other get back together and live happily-ever-after.
These books are what I like to call my fluffy "Cinderella" stories. They move along at a fast pace and can be read in an afternoon and evening. They are pretty predictable, but entertaining enough to keep my attention.
This was a fun story to read, Even though the storyline was alright I hated the bedroom scene...I'm from the old school of leaving some things to the imagination...So if you want something with some depth, you may want to look elsewhere. For me it fit the bill, since the last few days I have been "Snowed In With My Husband."
Thanks to the Harlequin publishers for providing me with this book to read and review. Actually, I enjoyed it enough to award it 3 'snowball' stars.
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading and reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers and authors I am under no obligation to write a positive review.
Great start to the Brides and Belles series! Bree and Ian's story goes to show that true love never dies! This story made me laugh, cry and blush with the chemistry between the two! I didn't want the book to end! Another great one by Ms. Laurence and look forward to reading the rest in the series!

I didn't like the plot, they broke up 9 years before (she dumped him) and when they meet again he was engaged and and expecting a baby (turns out to be a lie) with his fiancée.
They slept together within hours of him breaking up with the other woman and finding out there was no baby. Would prefer there to be more time between hero being with another woman and heroine, like enough time for a health check. Np.

For me, this was turned out to be a relatively stereotypical Harlequin classic type read. You pretty much get what the synopsis lays out. All things considered, it played out just as I expected it to. I didn't find it overly unpredictable.
(These comments are based on a library edition. This is not an ARC review.)
Una novela corta y muy entretenida para pasar un buen rato. De lectura sencilla y ágil, habrá que seguir indagando en las historias del resto de las amigas y ver hasta donde llega esto. Si te va la contemporánea sencillita, no es una mala elección.
Snowed In with Her Ex was such a quick story about second chances, and love.
As a wedding photographer, Briana Harper, has taken pictures of thousands of happy couples that are in love, something that she finds herself lacking now. But when she is called to take the engagement pictures of the latest celebrity couple, she is shocked to see the name of the groom, because is non other than her ex, Ian Lawson. Being the professional that she is, she agrees to take the engagement photos, and heads out to the mountains without knowing that a blizzard was going to get her trapped in a cabin with the one she once had a relationship with, and still loves.
Ian has always wanted to be successful, he works hard for what he wants, and that somehow got him caught in an engagement with famous singer, Missy Kline. Now he is about to be a dad, and a husband to a women that he doesn't love at all. When he drives to his cabin in the mountains of Nashville, he is surprised to see that his wedding photographer is non other than his ex, and the one who still manages to hold his heart after been apart for so long. Willing to put their romantic past in the past, both Ian and Briana brave through the night, which then become days trapped in a cabin. Spending time together, playing games, and even talking about their past, starts to bring them closer instead of apart. But when a surprising call gives Ian news of what his fiancee has done to him, he lets passion between him and Briana take over their days in the cabin, as they try to figure out if they can work together as a couple again, or say good-bye for good this time around.
There are definitely decisions that both need to make in the book. While Ian owns a successful recording studio, Briana has come a long way with being part owner of her own wedding business. Both characters have a lot to learn from their past experiences in order to move on with their lives, and that's what Andrea Laurence delivers. I liked the character's personalities, but at times Ian was too stubborn to face his fears, and it felt rushed in the book once everything got resolved. I liked the theme of second chances in the book, it all came together nicely at the end, which immediately follows with the start of the second book. I'm not sure if I liked the idea or not, but I actually read the second book first, and found myself liking it a lot. The characters are different, so there is no follow up with this book's characters in the second book. Overall, I enjoyed reading Snowed In with Her Ex, it was a quick read that has the perfect dose of romance, and drama (when the big news is revealed) that definitely keeps you wanting to know more. I highly recommend it :)

“Life doesn’t always turn out the way you plan. Sometimes, it turns out even better than you can imagine.”
This is the first book in the Brides and Belles Series and I have to say that I enjoyed it. This was one of those reads that you can enjoy any time. It was a heart-warming read that did bring a couple of tears to my eyes. Ms. Laurence writing is easy to follow and it flows smoothly. Her characters are well developed and they were easy to connect with. Sure there were few times when I wanted to cover up their mouths when they were talking non-sense but sooner or later they would find their way back to each other.
Briana Harper and Ian Lawson dated in their college years but they ended up drifting apart. She was a woman that had a father that worked too much and didn’t have time and made up excuses when functions happened. When she met Ian they connected through his music but then he received some advice from his tutor he and stopped singing and playing the guitar. He ended up working in a record company then it was like it was happening all over again he was missing dates, he wasn’t answering or calling her to let her know he was going to be late, it was like she didn’t exist. So she ended up walking away.
Now Ian is getting married and she is the photographer but worst of all she didn’t tell her partners in the company that he was her ex. So when they end up getting stuck together in his cabin she knows that there is no avoiding what happened nine years ago. She ends up learning that he no longer plays the guitar or sings all he has been doing is killing himself in work. The only problem is that is exactly what she has been doing also. Briana gets Ian to play his guitar after all those years past and it’s like life has been sucked back into him. Ian believes that Briana will never to be able to see him as the business man he is but sees him as a musician that has no career. But in the middle of all their feelings Ian gets a phone call that changes his life and Briana encourages him to sign off from everyone. Will they be able to reconnect and have what they had in college? Will he be able to change his life? Will she be able to forgive him and hear him out?
Snowed in with Her Ex was a great read that had me laughing and smiling at their bantering. I enjoyed how easily these characters were able to get to me. The chemistry was oozing out of them from the moment that they saw each other again all I thought was when were they going to share a kiss again. I know that I would have loved to strangle his fiancée for what she did but what would have been worth to read would have been a catfight between Missy and Briana especially because of what Missy did at the end or maybe just because of everything she did to Ian. I love how Ian and Briana had a second chance at love even though maybe it was more that a second chance.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Received ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an Honest Review
This starts a series involving four women who run a wedding planning company. This particular volume focuses on Bree Harper, the photographer. She's responsible for taking the engagement photos for the upcoming wedding between Ian Lawson and his pop-star (and pregnant) fiancee - at his cabin up in the mountains. What she doesn't tell anyone is that she and Ian were in love during their freshman year of college. Bree, having grown up with a workaholic dad, was attracted to his laid-back musician lifestyle. But when Ian found out he wasn't good enough for music, he turned to working at a record company, became a workaholic and alienated Bree. But Ian saw it as her walking out on him when he needed her most and not accepting him as he was. Both are somewhat bitter about the past. So Bree finds herself snowed in with her ex-boyfriend and the attraction is as strong as ever. But nothing much has changed in their personalities.
Overall this was an enjoyable read. The characters weren't overly irritating, but there were questionable points. For example, I have to question the personality of a record producer (Ian) who would succumb to a pop-star's seduction when he wasn't even all that into her in the first place. It also doesn't say much for his professionalism. I also wonder about Bree...her reaction to Ian's one mistake felt a bit over the top. I understood her issues and her past, but yikes. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the romance between these two, the fact that their friendship and thus their relationship felt real (no insta-love) and I liked the hero's grovel there at the end. Even if I'm not sure it was completely necessary.

Andrea Laurence has done it again. She has written a love story that sucks you in from the very beginning and keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen. Bree is a young lady working hard to keep her dreams alive with her 3 friends that run an all in one wedding business. They have created a unique business like no other and have to all pull their weight to keep it successful.
Bree is fulfilling her dream of photography and is the photographer for the business. She is assigned to a couple to do their engagement photos and realizes that it is her ex from college. She had no clue that he was even engaged. Bree has to travel a bit out of her way to do the photos and ends up hitting some bad weather that steadily gets worse by the minute on the day of the photo shoot. When Ian sees her for the first time in 9 years, all the feelings rush back to him and it is like time has stood still for him. The weather causes issues for Ian's fiancé, Missy, and she ends up not making it up the mountain to where the photos were going to be taken. Ian and Bree learn that they are not going anywhere either since all the roads have been closed. The time that Bree and Ian spend alone give them both time to think about where they have come in their lives and to really reevaluate what they want for their lives.
The back and forth of both Ian and Bree in their struggles within themselves to figure out what they want from each other and in their lives keeps you guessing as to how the story will end for these two. This book ends with a HEA but makes you long to know more of what becomes of these two. This is such a well written love story that I read in one sitting!!! Thanks Andrea for another great read!!!
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
Briana and Ian were high school sweethearts but a few knocks in young Ian’s personal life launched him headlong into a business career that would come first before everything else in his life, including Bree. Bree walked away she didn’t want another man like her workaholic father, no way, no how. Nine years later, Ian is still a workaholic who owns his own music label and Bree too is a professional photographer one who has been assigned the job of photographing Ian and his diva fiance Missy in Ian’s mountain retreat.
Bree arrives amidst a rapidly worsening snow storm but even the bitter cold is no match for the hot feels they still have for each other but there is the small matter of his fiance and clearly Ian hasn’t changed, he’s still a success driven high flyer. Both are convinced all they have to do is wait for Missy’s arrival, Bree will shoot the session and then she will leave and be gone from his life again, this time forever. But the snow has plans of its own forcing them into an unwanted seclusion that leads inevitably to clearing the air of that lingering bitterness that has shadowed both during the years of their separation. When the snow clears and a truth is revealed nothing seems to stand in the way of their being together – except - Bree is convinced Ian will never change and Ian sets out to prove her wrong but even the best laid plans...
What a nice change, the author steered away from making Ian out to be man whoring ho given his mogul status nor did she shelve Bree’s sexuality for all those years either while they were apart. That to me is real.
I've read this before, well not this book but books with a similar storyline. An enjoyable sweet if slightly angsty romance.

I really enjoyed this read. It was something new and fresh. The drama added a little extra to it. All the characters were well developed and even the back ground characters brought a little something to it. Bree and Ian were college sweethearts, until Ian drops out of school and stops playing his music and starts working at a recording company. He starts to forget the little things, until he forgets about Bree all together. Leaving her waiting at a restaurant twice. Bree refuses to be with a man who is like her father, and that was exactly what Ian is becoming. She breaks it off and they both move on with their lives. Until their new lives come crashing back together. Bree and 3 or her best friends own a very sought after wedding company. And who do they book? No other than Bree's old flame Ian and his fiancé. Can Bree make it through this wedding without losing herself? Or her heart all over again? And can Ian make it to the alter to say 'I Do?' question is , why will he be waiting for at the end? Bree was such a fun character to read. She is loyal to a fault and is just so sweet. She knows what she wants, even if she can't always have it. And right now, she wants Ian. And she knows that is wrong, and she tries so hard to stay away from. But they are both trapped ALONE together, on top of a mountain in a beautiful cabin. Ian is loyal to a fault. He may not love the woman he is marrying but he will be faithful to the woman carrying his child. No matter what his heart may want.
This book was such a light read. It kept me laughing and then tearing up to wanting to strangle Ian. Ah.
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. Laurence tells a unique & captivating second chance romance that kept me on my toes. I found the storyline to be original & very well put together. The plot was about so much more than two people coming together. Change and compromise are essential to this tale, as is life and love. The last few chapters were amazing. I couldn’t put the book down for a second. Laurence’s story went from great to absolutely, unbelievably, unforgettable. But above all, this novel was fun, plain and simple.
This pair of main characters was perfect for the story at hand. Laurence developed them extremely well. Not only did we see how he became a workaholic, but we also understand why she can’t tolerate it. The explosive chemistry between these two contrasted with their separate wants and desires adds to the complex yet completely satisfying relationship between them. Laurence develops these characters’ pasts as well as their present for that in depth view of what it means to be them.
This is my first novel by this author, but it won’t be my last. This was a fantastic, light, yet intricate romance that left me with a smile on my face. Would I recommend it to others? Definitely. Will I be reading the sequel? You can bet your bottom dollar I will.
Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
I don't usually read Harlequin Desire. I just don't find them all that great. however my BFF is a HUGE fan and convinced me to try this book. It wasn't bad. Briana Harper and her 3 college friends have started a wedding company providing the best weddings for Nashville's brides. Briana is the company photographer and has just been assigned to take the engagement photos of the pregnant pop star Missy Kline and her fiancé Ian Lawson, CEO of Missy's record company, future dad-to-be and the former love of Briana's life.
Upon arriving at the cabin in the mountains where the photos are to be taken, Briana and Ian learn that Missy can't make it because of an unexpected blizzard. They are now snowed in with just each other and a lot of anger over the end of their relationship nine years earlier. The tension mounts and the sparks fly, but the lines do not get crossed until Ian learns of Missy's lies and breaks off their engagement.
I liked the book. This was my first read from this author and she wrote a good story. It just wasn't for me. The storytelling in the Desire books are not as volatile as the some of Harlequin's other books and these characters come across as tame in comparison. So while I am certain that this author has a devoted following, I will not be one of them.
Snowed In with Her Ex is a good Harlequin romance for a snowy/cloudy winter day. The story is about Ian and Briana who were college sweethearts. He was a musician and she was, and still is, a photographer. Ian quit playing music when he was told by a professor that he wasn't good enough to make it, and now he owns a record label. He is engaged to one of his bratty singers, and Briana's wedding planning company was hired by his fiancee to plan the wedding. Briana goes to his cabin to take the engagement photos and ends up being snowed in with Ian. At this point, both are in a very uncomfortable situation, but they have the opportunity to lay their cards on the table to find out if there's still something between them.
I think that there was a lot of miscommunication and misunderstandings between the two characters. Briana's issues with her father clouded her judgement, and Ian's issues with his father and hurt feelings from college clouded his judgement. Toward the end of the book, they both said some hurtful things to each other, but I felt that Briana was being unfair toward Ian and wish that she too had done something to make up for it.
*I received my ARC from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
Andrea Laurence has done it again and has started off this new Brides and Belles series on the right foot. Though I had to admit I was a little weary hoping they wouldn't be like another series by another author. But I couldn't wait to read the first book in this series!!!
Brianna and her three friends have their own wedding business. Brianna is the photographer in the group, and finds herself thrown into a situation she would probably rather avoid. I liked Brianna's character she's independent, spunky and has made something of herself.
Ian is the owner of a recording studio and likes to keep himself out of the limelight. Though he finds himself thrust into with his pregnant fiancé. You could feel the attraction that was still lingering between Brianna and Ian.
This book made me laugh and yelling at the characters at times. Andrea writes a wonderful story about second chances. I give this book 4 Out of 5 Stars and would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a sweet book with a HEA. I cannot wait to read the next book in the Brides and Belles series.
**Disclaimer: I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review**
Brianna and her three friends have setup a company called From This Moment, an elite wedding one stop in which Briana is the photographer. Only in her meeting she learned that they had booked a big celebrity wedding for Missy Kline and Ian Lawson. Not knowing that Ian was her college sweetheart, now she is expected to take the engagement and wedding photos.
Ian used to be everything to Bree, until he became such a workaholic he forgot everything and reminded her so much of her father that she could not do it anymore. Now nine years later she has managed to get to his cabin on the mountain side through the treacherous weather, and comes face to face with him once again. Only once she arrives he receives a call from his fiancé that the roads are closed and she cannot make it. Leaving Bree and Ian stranded, alone and unable to leave.
Now being cooped up together will bring back the memories of when they were together and the sparks that never went away. While Ian has tried to forget the bad memories of his past, he was never able to forget her. But will be able to make up for the mistakes of his past and get back what he lost?
"Snowed in with her Ex" written by Andrea Laurence is the first book in a series called Brides and Bells. Andrea Laurence has yet again written another truly excellent book.
Brianna's business partners excepted a photography assignment on Brianna's behalf where she was to take engagement portraits of a couple, followed by their wedding photos on their special day. She was heartbroken to discover that they were to be of her ex boyfriend Ian Lawson and his pregnant music celebrity wife to be. If that isn't enough misery to bear, she finds herself snowed in alone with Ian. The attraction between Briana and Ian is phenomenal and Bree realises that she never stopped loving him.
This is a heartfelt story that keeps you turning the pages as you get wrapped up in chemistry and forbidden attraction between Ian and Bree. I look forward to reading the following books in this series.
Ian is a workaholic and Bree has a life as a photographer as part of a group of women who make women's dream weddings come true. She has a college sweetheart who now is engaged to be married. She is the lucky one who has to go and photograph the lucky engaged couple who is Ian and a starlet Missy. She literally gets snowed in his huge cabin home till the roads open. Ian and Bree find out the nine years they have been apart has not changed their feelings for one another. With their lives back in Nashville they are stuck with each other. I enjoyed Bree and Ian and I would have liked to have seen more of her friends and their personalities. The content was good and Bree and Ian were good characters. I thought that maybe a little more substance with the characters regarding her friends would have been nice. Any who it was a fast read and I did enjoy it.
