Jane believed that restoring her best friend, Maria's, soul would be the end of her worries.

The Leader of the Tokyo Branch of the Guardians of our Paranormal Society is coming into town, and he's bringing a group of researchers with him to investigate Maria's newly designated paranormal status that had been brought about by the Gaki, a soul eating monster from Japanese Mythology.


Being nervous about the G.O.O.P.S. agents approach is understandable, but Jane can't help but think that something else is bothering her friend and that it's connected to Maria's vampiric boyfriend, Dellar.


Then there's Akira, who has remained a steadfast support through it all; and who Jane is starting to open her heart up to despite her initial misgivings.


New threats rise while darkness brews on the horizon, and Jane will find herself needing that support when it sets its sights on her.
