Read more about me at my website if you wish. http:// www. brightring. com I write art books for children, parents, teachers, and homeschoolers. And I love love love art for kids!!!
This is the best book of art projects and activities for kids that I have ever seen. It has lots of great ideas for helping kids to do art stuff in different ways, ideas like the title says for independent creative art experiences, and it's organized very well, too. I think that anyone with young children or that works with them would find this book helpful with many ideas to keep little hands busy and having fun.
I've only found a few of Kohl's books not to my liking but this isn't one of them. It does have some similarities to "first art for toddlers and twos" but this is intended for an older audience.
Excellent database of art projects for children in a variety of mediums. A good starter book for parents and teachers, especially for the younger ages.
