I believe Nishant Jain wrote this book not to help students rather its an agenda of self aggrandisement. Not at all helpful . Those who are new /freshers to civil services exams should search for forumias discussions, insights discussions, Mrunal.org and ofcourse google for reading real toppers opinion. Yes,Nishant jain is topper but book is waste. Nothing new, any tom ,dick and harry can write the same, even school going student will recognize that its nothing more than self promotion.
Writing catchy titles and giving nothing is the bottom-line of this book. Folks even if you get free PDF dont invest your precious time to read this one.

This is a good book for UPSC CSE aspirants as it is written by UPSC CSE AIR-13 himself.
The first half book provides you with the strategy to deal with the examination. The second half of the book contains the stories of the toppers in CSE & State Civil services. In the last part, some introduction to the life just after you become an IAS has also been given which certainly motivates you.
Pros-
1. The binding of the book is good.
2. The language of the book is also good. It gives you an idea of what type of language we need to have in order to fetch good marks in Civil Services.
3. The style of writing and the structuring of the content is also good.
4. All the important aspects are more or less covered. Some areas where the author has scored very high marks have been covered in great depth.
5. The second half of the book is very good. It gives you the life stories of many toppers. The most important thing is that most of these stories are of those toppers who had to face a lot of struggle and who succeeded in spite of such huge struggle. So these stories motivate a lot. Also, the life after becoming an IAS has been covered in this part in 3 different chapters which motivate further.
6. The book is cheap.
Cons-
1. Page quality is not good.
2. The nuances of all the areas have not been covered in this book e.g. GS.
3. For those who feel some issue in reading Hindi, this book is not that good as they will not be able to understand everything easily. They will face some issue as they will find the language to be a bit difficult.
Final comment- This is a very good book for UPSC CSE aspirants but this is not enough. Books from Dr. Vijay Agarwal are far better than this one.

‘मुझे बनना है UPSC टॉपर’ पुस्तक सिविल सेवा परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहे मुझ जैसे अभ्यर्थियों के लिए एक पथ-प्रदर्शक के समान है I जब मैंने सिविल सेवा परीक्षा की तैयारी करना प्रारंभ किया तो मैं ऐसी ही किसी पुस्तक की तलाश में था I एक दिन मेरे एक मित्र ने मुझे बताया कि निशान्त जैन सर की पुस्तक ‘मुझे बनना है UPSC टॉपर’ में सिविल सेवा परीक्षा के विषय में हर वह जानकारी है जो एक अभ्यर्थी जानना चाहता है और सच, जब मैंने इसे पढ़ा तो अनुभव किया कि यही वह पुस्तक है जिसकी मुझे तलाश थी !

अदभुत पुस्तक ! लेखक स्वयं आईएएस टॉपर रहे हैं तथा उन्होंने अभ्यर्थियों की सफलता के लिए इसमें अपनी सफलता का सार प्रस्तुत कर दिया है I सच कहूँ तो पुस्तक ‘मुझे बनना है UPSC टॉपर’ का एक-एक शब्द सफलता के मार्ग की ओर ले जाता है I ‘ पुस्तक के अध्याय , ‘रुक जाना नहीं , तू कहीं हार के...’, ‘अपनी लकीर बड़ी करें’, ‘सफलता की अनकही कहानियां’, ‘मेरी सफलता की कहानी : तुझे चलते जाना है’ पुस्तक को अवश्य पठनीय बनाती हैं I

सिविल सेवा परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहे अभ्यर्थियों के लिए पुस्तक ‘मुझे बनना है UPSC टॉपर’ एक वरदान स्वरूप है I लेखक ने हर वह जानकारी दी है , जिसके विषय में परीक्षार्थी जानना चाहता हैI पुस्तक बहुत सेलेक्टिव अप्रोच में लिखी गई है, यानी वही सब इसमें बताया गया है |
जो जानना जरूरी है I वैसे तो पूरी किताब ही उत्तम है परन्तु मुझे पुस्तक के अध्याय ‘क्या पढ़ें, क्या न पढ़ें और कैसे पढ़ें’ तथा ‘इंटरव्यू : खुद को कैसे अभिव्यक्त करें’ विशेष रूप से काफी उपयोगी लगे |
