Jacci lives with her husband in Nevada’s high desert. They spend their mornings hiking through the sagebrush with their dog, Rosie.
Jacci loves chocolate, babies, and coffee with friends. She’s worn many hats in her life: therapist, school counselor, campus minister, and mom. Her favorite hats are her writer and grandmother hats, which come in wild colors and don’t fit too tightly.
Jacci is the author of twelve books for middle grade and young adults and two for adults.
Overall, I enjoyed Finding Willow. I didn't read the books that came before it because I was a first reads winner, and that's how I got is in the first place. I think the book could have used some more descriptive wording, but that's just me! :) I love great description I guess! ;) I found it captivating, but not like in a I-Can't-Put-It-Down kind of way. It was an easy read between bigger books I'm trying to tackle. In the end I would recommend it to some of my friends, but I probably won't read it again. ALTHOUGH I found that the hand-written note I received with the book was a special touch and I will be reading more of Jacci Turners books and following her facebook page!
I love reading about these girls. They're just such likeable people and their relationships with those around them grow and stretch with every book. I think they're good role models for young girls who need positive characters to identify with.
Introducing the third book in The Finding Home Series! I love this one, of course, I love them all. I think it's a good ending. But...there may be more down the road. Give the series a try! Jacci
