Jordan B. Peterson’s “12 Rules for Life” is quite the thought-provoking read. The Canadian clinical psychologist puts forth his ideas about personality, being, existence; the interconnectedness of order and chaos, two forces evident in all of life; the gender roles assignment discourse; the source of the world’s greatest evils, and many other controversial topics.

It is refreshing, and sometimes confusing, how he weaves biblical accounts and characters into the telling of his stories. But what might raise the hairs of most are his views on political correctness regarding postmodernism, white-privilege, cultural appropriation and everything in between. One thing is clear about Peterson. He is a man unapologetic of his views, which are largely unpopular, closely conservative, and politically incorrect.

This book contains a comprehensive, well detailed summary and key takeaways of the original book by Jordan B. Peterson . It summarizes the book in detail, to help people effectively understand, articulate and imbibe the original work by Peterson. Short and concise read

Twelve short pointers for people who like short reads and easy reads. The ideas are brought across neatly. The only thing at irk me is the not-so-subtle reference to God and Jesus in the book, at least a couple of times.

Provocative helpful 12 to living all life gives us

Excellent “rules” more of a guide through all the chaos and uncertainty life can and will give us. Living life through truth, with ourselves and others.

Insightful. Typos.

I have not read the original book so I cannot say how well it summarizes that. But it's got some good insights. However, also has a lot of typos in the last quarter.

A reasonable summary

This book gives a good taste of what is to come. Too many typos. Generally I found it helpful and readable

Having read the complete 12 rules for life by Peterson I needed this summary in order to avoid remaining in the chaos of multiple examples presented in the complete works.

What do you get when you marry wisdom, logic, common sense and a bushel full of life experience? You get the 12 Rules for Life by Dr. Jordan B. Peterson. It is exactly what I just described. 12 rules that on the surface appear to be simple and easily understood but carry with them the very seeds needed to go from where you are in life to where you want to be or should be.

Who should read this book? EVERYONE! Nothing more need be said, EVERYONE SHOULD READ IT.
Would I read it again? Absolutely. Plan to make graphics of the 12 Rules as a daily reminder of where my mind needs to be at any given time.
