I thought this book was so dope and I felt proud to be reading it. The only thing I was disappointed by was that the book ended. Lol. Very good love. Keep the momentum!
Went into Foolish excited for some Black hoodoo fantasy, but it leaned more urban fiction than I expected. The pacing was slow, and some parts felt repetitive. But the last few pages? Gave me just enough to consider book two. Hoping the next one picks up!
This was a fun read! I love how the Author writes in every day dialect so reading it feels like you’re talking to a friend. If you’re into magic, time travel, family drama and mystery, you will like “Foolish”
This book was greatly written! It kept me intrigued the entire time I read it! I’m so invested in each of the characters collectively and solo! I could so see them having their own standalone books down the line. As a writer myself, I now see how writing and editing your own piece can lead to minor mistakes such as punctuation and misplaced words, which none of it took away from the story line, simply made me more aware for myself. I would so recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read! I look forward to diving into the next and to anything else this author would like to grace us with! I’m looking forward to creating a Tiktok to further express my experience!
I absolutely loved this book. Sol showed real growth. The storyline was very interesting and the fact that a fiction book incorporates so much African spirituality and magic is wonderful to me. I can't wait to read part two.
Murder Mystery + Magick + Time traveling + Lucid dreaming
I enjoyed the dialogue between the characters. The hoodoo. The fact that everyone looked like me. Felt like I was hanging out with friends. Hoping we have more romance in second book because I live for romance ok? 😂
I initially wasn't feeling this book. I don't like dialect. But the more I read the more I anticipated. You can tell the author knows things. Good book
