An excellent and insightful textbook especially considering it was written in 2005 at the cusp of the social network explosion. The statistical modeling was truly ahead of it's time given the limited data sets available at the time. Very insightful study on what the author called "brokers & bridges" which we all call "influencers" today. There is far better data available now; however, the statistical model formats used will still apply to the recent data sets and analytics.
