This is a terrific chapter book for young readers! I love the message that if you really want something, it's possible to work hard to get it. Luckily, the story isn't didactic at all but told with fast pacing and a lot of great humor. Maddy is a relatable, fun main character, and I'm glad there are more books in this series!

If your kids are like mine and are always thinking up new businesses or projects they'd like to start, the Maddy Maguire series is perfect for them. Lively stories with fun, believable characters who learn a little something about business and life along the way; my daughter loves them (and so do I!)
