An early reader's introduction to the purpose, creation, programming, and future of robots which has interesting content that might trigger further research. The Cody Koala series weaves QR Codes throughout the book to make reading interact with technology. If readers scan the very first QR Code opposite the Table of Contents they will access the page that has all the content each individual QR Code in the book will take them to (so not a good idea). The QR Codes take readers to: watch a short video, a list of websites to learn more (the sites include National Geographic Kids and ABCYA, which readers may need to have an account for), and pdf activities that must be printed in order to be completed. The book ends by inviting readers to make connections to self, text, and world through a few questions. Some text features included in this book: Table of Contents, headings, photos, information boxes, bold words, captions, t-chart, glossary, and index. It is worth mentioning that it is divided in chapters and that the photos are high quality and purposeful.

I used this to get some information on the robotics lesson I'm giving. Great amount for such a quick little read.
