The book is only one step up from Your Pregnancy Week-by-Week by a different author. It has too many scare tactics, and the author recommends way too many tests. She, herself, had sonograms weekly for months. Skip this one!

I like the week-to-week format in this book, it's less alarmist than What to Expect (but still could be a freak-you-out book) and is written by an OB who was also an over-35 first time mom.
