In the past 10 years the number of twin births has risen 52 percent and the number of higher-order multiples has increased more than 400 percent! Written by a perinatal nurse specializing in multiple birth education, The Multiple Pregnancy Sourcebook explores the physical, financial, and emotional challenges of this high-risk condition. Included is an extensive list of support resources.
Very well organized - it's easy to find the info that you want in this book.
What I liked best...unlike many books re: twins/triplets, this one gives tips for caring for babies after they arrive home. (Most books for Moms of multiples simply scare us with all the stuff that could go wrong during pregnancy and they stop there. The "what happens when babies come home?" question is never addressed.)
I enjoyed this book much more than expected. It was very informative. I learned a lot about identical vs fraternal. I loved reading about my twins development and getting several tips about important factors after birth, such as breastfeeding. Very well done. It has an excellent resource list in the back.
