Sometimes a book is just pure fun from open to close. Of course, one should watch Plan 9 From Outer Space (and at least one other Ed Wood movie) before reading this. The author perfect imitates Wood's overwrought dialogue and absurd scenarios. At the same time he further explores the imagined world of the movie, picks up the threads of some unintended in-jokes, and actually brings some heart to the story.
