Rate this book
Amanda Stevens is an average Uni student, living with her mother. She never imagines that going home early from a celebration over her last tutorial will turn her world upside down, but the moment she steps into the tattered remnants of what used to be their family lounge room, life as Amanda knows it is about to change forever. They're looking for something--something that's worth killing for--and she has the key to finding it.

She has the secrets of a demon.

Jason Tyner has enough on his plate after an exam scandal threatens his position at university and rocks the shaky foundation of trust he has with his father. When he finds beautiful, shivering Amanda hiding in his family treehouse during a storm, he knows he has to help her, no matter the cost.

He has the eyes of an angel.

With her mother missing and danger lurking around every corner, Amanda and Jason must dig deeper into the truth of Amanda's key. A whirlwind of attraction and promises pulls them together, while untold secrets threaten to pull them apart. If they can manage to trust one another, they just might unravel the secrets that are hidden.

This is a great novella. The story is good, the characters are believable and likeable. The story moves along quickly, it's a pretty short story. I really liked both main characters. The plot is only developed as much as the short story allows, but it gets the job done and makes for an enjoyable read. I think readers of young adult mystery would enjoy this book. The romance is clean and it is easy to root for these two.

Pretty good story over all. I don't usually read mystery type books, but if I did I would have probably rated it higher, because it really is a fast paced easy read.

Family secrets yes we all have them! But no one would want this one, especially when someone would kill for it. Thankfully a guardian angel is there to help. A great read....
