Cousin Cassandra has made her presence known by crashing Adie’s housewarming party and it’s up to Adie to help Julian while also protecting her roommates. Or is it? In a house filled with succubi and incubi, will any of them step forward to help? Or are they truly the selfish family Adie’s always known them to be?
With the opening of her bakery just around the corner, will Adie finally realize her dreams of stuffing humans with sweet treats and herself on their happy energy? Or will it all fall to ruin?
Follow Adie on her continuing (mis)adventures filled with troublesome demons as she strives toward achieving a quasi-normal life among humans.
Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Whether she's writing a fast burn romance about witches, wolf shifters, and vampires, or teasing a slow burn romance while hunting demonic monsters, her passion is for character driven novels.
Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.
Oh, Addie, how did you get in so much trouble with your cousins? And how are going to get out of it? I love this serial. It's like a tiny treat I open on my Kindle every month!
The Breach is the 10th and final installment in L.L. Frost’s The Succubus Studies serial before moving forward. The author picks up where the last serial ended with cousin Cassandra making an unexpected appearance and with an “undesirable” surprise in the form of an emaciated cousin Julian. Get ready for a power play to take place, and Adie to get a few tips and revelations in this installment. She hates being reminded of her weakness, but it’s something that she needs a constant reminder of. Her impatience has cost her and now she has to make do with her choices. Adie makes some progress in this book and I like seeing the progression in their relationships as well. Tally is a great addition to the characters and I just wish that I could eat dreams and learn things just as quickly as she does. LOL! I have to admit that I like how knowledgeable Tally is as well. She knows quite a bit but she holds no judgement in connection to Adie’s weaknesses and shortcomings. This addition to the serial is one of my favorites so far. Also, as it is the last one in this particular collection readers can choose to either read them back-to-back or grab the book that has this entire story arc all bundled together. Which is what I first did. But the serials are just as fun. So I am rating this serial 5 out of 5 stars. If you have enjoyed this serial/series to this point then I encourage you to keep reading. Enjoy!
Aww...such a feel-good part of the series! Loved this one!
This book at started out intense and a little scary for all the succubi - as evil Charlotte crashed the house party at Adie's home. But after a short breakdown, Adie woke up to a great day. Opening day at Boo's Bakery was a success, Sadie helped her with some good info, Emil took her out for a meal and a kiss, and Tobias made her night with some lovin' and feeding, and Tac jumped in bed with her to snuggle and gave her a glimpse of a true desire - finally a succumb us power!! Yay! What a great day! So happy for her!!
I like the world that Adie lives in and all the different characters. The side characters are intriguing and I want to know more about their back stories. I only watch out for the next installment of 2 serials as I usually prefer a longer book but this is a perfect lunchtime read in the middle of a tough day at work. Looking forward to April and the next part of her story.
Adie has finally accepted that she's the only one to blame for her stunted growth as a succubus. She does seem to have made a little progress, though and that's thanks to her sexy roomies. I'm glad cousin Cassandra got put in her place, too.
Also you know by now this book starts where the last left off. Cousin Cassandra crashing Boo's not wanted housewarming party. Cant wait for the next one.
Love it and can’t wait for the next installment. Always to short but I do enjoy the read. There are some questions and can’t wait to find out the answers. Enjoy!
Adie is always making me laugh the guys and her make this story great. Kinda sucks that her relatives don’t help her more in anyway instead they always want favors or payments and they can’t say thank you. I’m glad adie is losing up more toward the three handsome men
As usual I love this series but the age thing is getting to me. Makes me wonder exactly how old addie is. It mentioned that she’s 90. Then 80 years old. Then said she spent 60 years in dream land then had been on earth for 16 which would make her 76.
Really enjoyed reading this book in segments, its unusual but works for me. Adie is finally settled in with everything looking up. Can't wait to read more. JL
