They thought revealing New Origins' plans would be enough, that they could go on to live normal lives. But nobody knows Space Station Horus like Marick and Alicia, and they're asked to lead the assault.
It's time to return to space, now with an army at their backs.
Meanwhile, their war isn't the only one they have to worry about, as the criminal leader of Space Station Ramiel is on a warpath against Marick and any who would stand on his side.
But now he has his own team, a ragtag group of enhanced super soldiers, hackers, and former criminals with access to alien technology that just might give them a chance against the overwhelming forces that stand against them.
New Origins will try to kill him and his wife, but he won't stop until he's torn them from their elite spot in the skies and sent them six feet underground.

I enjoyed this exciting fight for freedom that takes place both on planets and in space. Even though this is the third book in a series, I had no problems following the story and I had not read the previous book. The fast pace, complexity of the plot and the appealing characters (I especially Marick and Alicia,) coupled with epic battles both on land and in space, alien technology, super soldiers, romance and suspense and this story definitely keeps your attention. The narrator of the audiobook fit the story well. His deep baritone voice suited the male characters well and yet he still managed to make the female voices believable too. This is a thrilling story with a satisfying end and there is also room to have future stories in this world.
The life-or-death battle for Earth continues among the stars and below the surface in this epic new book, number 3 in the excellent Biotech Wars series by Master of the Fantasy Sci-fi Universe, Justin Sloan. Having escaped from the penal Space Station Ramiel and its violent rebel overthrowers, Gulch and his thugs, Marick and Alicia race towards Washington DC, aboard an enhanced-protected helo and are reunited on board with Alicia's sister Shrina and her FBI partner Triston, (aka Trent). After an ambush by corrupt Admiral Nor's, (of New Origins) super-enhanced son Matias and his PD enhanced/robot army, the couple complete their mission and get the President to safety in his underground bunker.
Where do Marick, Alicia and Intrepid take the fight to next? What happens to Alicia on S.S Horus? How does she overcome Matias and his troops? Why is Gulch attacking Space Station Horus? Where does Admiral Nor unexpectedly lead Marick - and how do he and Alicia kill her? How is Yerbuna saved ? Who is The Martyr? Why do Marick and Alicia go to Marrakesh?
Like me you're sure to agree this is definitely a winner from Justin Sloan. It's guaranteed to keep the keen sci-fi fantasy fan reading and enjoying every last morsel of this all-action, epic thrill-fest which they are sure to be fulfilled by once more. Outstanding!!
This is a good series. I've ranked the other 2 books in this series as 5 stars, and I would rank this one so as well for story….. however it seems like the author rushed this story out with minimal editing. In a number of places the author used the names of the wrong characters in conversation or misplaced the location of characters who were just described in one spot and then suddenly were part of the conversation/action happening in a different location. In several cases I had to go back and re-read the previous page in order to make sure I had not missed some jump in the action which distracted from the overall flow from the book.
Exciting and fast paced with enough twists to keep you guessing, Justin Sloan has written a remarkable book that finishes the story while keeping enough lines open to allow some or all of the characters you’ve come to know carrying on.
This was a fascinating ending to a great series. It leaves you with unanswered questions, and in doubt about where the future is going to go in this story, but then, isn't that what life does for us everyday?
