The stories in this anthology reek of writing schools. They are technically excellent but not that engaging, and one or two are downright unintelligible. If your major love is for new writing from new authors, this is not a bad anthology and instructive about what it takes to get a story published these days.

the number of stories in the anthology also make it good value for money.
