This story could be good if it wasn't the first chapter of the second one I presume. And I'm not fond of the idea. Sorry but I won't read the second one.
The Matchfaker is an intriguing start to a new series, but it's too short to have done anything but give me a glimpse of what is going on.
Logan is trying "to find a girl so that I can properly position myself to someday take over my dad's firm, and live happily ever after of course." So he's enlisted the help of Trey Muse, a premier matchmaker. Only, Logan didn't expect to be wildly attracted to Trey instead, an out and proud gay man who's so flamboyant that his suits match his vibrant charisma. Logan has yet to come to terms with his sexuality, and he says his father and brothers in their law firm wouldn't understand, so his growing attraction to Trey just will not do.
When they start a little dance of will they, won't they, and it comes to a head one night, I was expecting fireworks. Instead, though, it kind of fizzled for me. I am still interested enough to read the next installment, but I have to admit that when Logan and Trey finally came together in this short installment, I was very underwhelmed. I'm hoping the next installment is hotter, longer, and much more than just a tease as this installment was.
