The Box
Christina Wells is on the fast track in life. A recent graduate from the University of Virginia, she's landed a job as a financial planner with an established brokerage firm in Charlottesville. Despite garnering quick success in her new career, her heart is not in her work, yet pressure from everyone around her keeps her from pursuing her passion- music. When Christina meets Devin, a musician and two time college dropout, her heart leads her toward doing that which her head and her friends and family warn her not to do. Christina and Devin form a bond with music that eventually becomes romantic, and in a world that imposes its will on the people, they risk losing everything for committing their crime of passion. Will they be able to survive on the beautiful music they make together? Or will their efforts fall flat on deaf ears?

I just loved this book,
I have just finished reading The Book , The Box. Kevin Lake is in my opinion a great writer, this book for me was unputdownable.! I'd definitely recommend it and ALL of Kevin Lake's books, that I've read get me hooked from the first sentence his stories are very believable, understandable. I'm not a great reader but I will be reading ANY of Kevin's writings I find, and I'm hoping that there's going to be more from Kevin, soon!

Expect. To enjoy.
I found Kevin Lake and his family on YouTube. I was struck right away by a kind of crazy brilliant style which insured i would watch as many of his videos as possible. From there, I found his books.
This one, in which social media is a major player, captured my interest from the first page. There is something about it that completely satisfied me. Well done Mr. Lake.
To all potential readers, you can expect to enjoy your time spent with interesting characters and a loving story.
