Dragonfly
In 1852, Isabella and her family set out on the Oregon Trail from Independence, Missouri in search of a better life. When Izzy experiences startling déjà vu and a strong premonition about their family’s journey, she knows everything is not as it seems. Beautifully written
Mr. Oliver has a talent for easing dreams from common words. Izzy and Kuruk's story has been brought off the flat paper, given substance and form, flowing through the deepest levels of our spirit to mingle with and slowly release doubt to the ether.

A really great book. Creative and intelligently written.

This book is just about my favorite book! It has something for everyone and is really well written. I was lost in the story after the first page, and I couldn't put it down until I finished it.
Not only is there adventure, but I could see the physical and energetic landscape described as I read. The relationships are well-developed, but the story of the main character's development as a person, woman, the way she learns of her past and steps into a present full of wonders and challenges held me spellbound. She begins as a somewhat naive young woman and learns her power and the responsibility that comes with it as the action unfolds, and my only problem with this story is that I want more!!!!
I wanted to put this book down and pick up the next one to jump back into the time and place Dragonfly creates, and I hope that the author will decide to continue this story. I plan to read it again in a month or so since I feel that I will learn something new every time I read it. This has something for everyone, and it is definitely a great read! If I could give it ten stars I would.

This was a really well written romance novel. That is not my typical genre - I read this by request of one of the sponsors of my live streaming channel. If I was into fiction novels with supernatural elements and steamy sex scenes, I'm sure I'd have given this 5 stars. With the exception of a few mild typos, I didn't find anything WRONG with the book. It's just not my thing.
The story was really easy to follow and I repeat - VERY well written. I read this very quickly and was still able to get tied into every character. I even found myself hoping for a sequel where Tuhre wants to get in on the marriage of Izzy and Kuruks! Great elements of being comfortable in your own skin - clothing optional hehe - trusting your intuition and being strong enough to speak up when the group disagrees with you, overcoming racial and cultural differences, sustainable living, etc.
Really a great story overall, I just can't bring myself to rate it any higher because of my own preferences.

Dragonfly was amazing. It was nice to read about a couple whos problems are not within the relationship. They work together to deal with the trials and tribulations that arise.
It also speaks intelligently and empathically upon hotbed topics such as interracial relationships, dealing with emotions, learning about self and shamanic teachings.
This story is captivating and loving and fun. Happy Reading!!!

Disappointed
I can't stand it when a book goes from 1852 to USB drives...
This was written entirely too simply, as if aimed at an early elementary audience.

Couldn't get past page 35. When first meeting Kurucks, he had limited English, then all of a sudden, he was speaking fluently.
