My life has always been a series of carefully constructed roads. Always the passenger, never the driver. Always the puppet, never the master. Always the pawn, never the queen.
Except with Dante. He makes me feel like a princess, a goddess, a queen… His queen.
Only with Dante does everything make sense. Only with Dante do I know who I am. Only with Dante do I believe in hope, in faith, in love.
We met in the clouds. We bared our souls in the clouds. We fell in love in the clouds. But is our love deep enough to survive the return to earth?
Is our faith true enough to weather even the most violent of storms?
Is our hope strong enough to outshine the darkest of days and bleakest of nights?
Dante made me believe in the power of fate. I need to trust that fate won’t steer me wrong now. After everything I’ve been through, after everything I’ve experienced, after everything I’ve endured, one thing remains certain…
T.K. Leigh, otherwise known as Tracy Leigh Kellam, is the USA Today Bestselling author of the Beautiful Mess series, in addition to several other works. Originally from New England, she now resides outside of Raleigh with her husband, beautiful daughter, three cats, and special needs rescue dog.
When she’s not writing she can be found training for her next marathon (of which she has run over twenty fulls and far too many halfs to recall), having impromptu dance parties with her daughter, or planning her next trip to parts unknown.
The romantic element wasn’t so strong in the third part, Dante appeared towards the ending because they were apart, since Eleanor wanted to find out her real self. There is plenty of mystery, secrets revealed and many questions looking for answers.
I am into this series more than I ever thought I would be. I feel as if I am rather consumed by this at the rate I am reading this. I have been skimming some parts so I can just get to the end because I simply need to know what the hell is going to happen.
This book starts with Eleanor finally trying to make it on her own. I've got to hand it to her. She is doing quite the good part where she is telling everyone who ever controlled her to go f***off. Her mother seems to be more than just a control freak and her father is just an enigma. I am glad she has Dante, Mila and Steven to help her through. There aren't that much answers given but whole load of more questions given to us. I guess we need to wait till the end of part 4 to get all the answers. We are still kept in the dark of the whole thing about the pharmaceuticals.
As always this book too ended in a cliffhanger except this one is to give us some forewarning for the shit storm about to hit. I am constantly surprised how Ms Leigh managed to give us three different types of cliffhangers for each book. I am seriously in love with her style of writing and sure to keep an eye on all of her work from here onward.
Whoa! I wanna scream, and shout and let it all out! T.K. Is just wow! Amazing! Never disappoints! Keeps you in suspense and biting your nails! I absolutely LOVE this series! Book 1 and 2 blew me away and almost destroyed me (in a good evil way) and Book 3 took my heart and bunched it up in a ball threw it around and then bounced it back to its norm! Fate- we dream it- we wish it- we mourn it- but Dante and Eleanor deserve it and that is when my heart started beating again! ......... until...... the end! I am dying! What is going to happen!? The continuation (book 4) can not come quick enough! I truly love love Dante and Eleanor! I have a feeling book 4 will have some major obstacles their love has to battle! Ahhhh!
5 smoking hot stars!! I am LOVIN' the heck out of this series!! You need to read books 1 & 2 so that you can experience the full story. This is a very quick, fast paced read. I love that it picks up right where book 2 left off so it was very easy to slip right back into the story like no time had passed. With each book Dante and Eleanor continue to grow and develop. I'm eager to find out what happens next!!
This book was given to me at my request and I provided this review voluntarily
The third book of this four part series took a detour as Dante and Ellie are apart pretty much the whole book - it really becomes a find herself storyline and fixing family stuff, etc, etc - not my favorite type content. SOOOO I was bored!! And by the end was uninterested in moving on to the last part of the story where they will obviously get back together.....I assume.
Title of Book: Inferno, Part Three Author Name: T.K. Leigh Genre: Romance/Women’s Fiction Rating: 5 Steam Rating: 4
Inferno, part three picks up right where we were left in part two with our mouths open wide, gasping in shock at the magnificent cliffhanger left by T.K. Leigh. I happen to love a good cliffhanger, so if you’re one of those, you’ll really appreciate that each installment in this four-part series is being released within a month of the last. Because, while these books may be a bit smaller than the average story put out by Ms. Leigh, each one packs a ginormous punch. The reader will not be disappointed.
When Eleanor flips a coin in the previous installment to determine which direction ‘fate’ is telling her to go, we have no idea if she gets heads or tails until this installment of Inferno, part three. What a whirlwind ride Ms. Leigh sends her readers on with this emotional, realistic, and oh, so sexy continuation of the intense and passionate Inferno that is Dante and Eleanor. Whew! I need a fan! T.K. Leigh just raised the temperature in the room from cold to steamy in a matter of seconds. The steam level in this book is hot, hot! The one question I carried from about midway through this book until the end was: What about Brock? T.K. Leigh answers in a way I never expected, once again leaving me with my jaw on the floor, ready to be for part four long before its scheduled release.
Here are a few quotes I especially loved from Inferno, part three:
“This is better than an episode of Hawaii Five-O. We can call it Italy Six-Nine since it involves a sexy Italian.”
“Sometimes the best love you can find is between two imperfect, broken people who learn to navigate through life’s storms together. There are few things worth fighting for, but you can be damn sure love is one of them.”
“Sometimes, my darling friend, fate needs a little push.”
“Please, God…if you could just find it in your heart to help me tonight, I promise I’ll never take your name in vain or violate any of those other amendments or commandments…” I especially love this one so much!
Prepare for takeoff, reader, for T.K. Leigh is about to skyrocket you to outer space with this steamy, romantic suspense.
T.K. continues the story of Dante and Eleanor right where we left off in book 2, with that big cliffhanger of: how did the coin land?? If you don't know what I'm talking about, you need to go back to the beginning and read this series in order. Otherwise you will be confused and will have missed the first two amazing books that get us to this point.
The coin, or Fate, has Eleanor going home to California to start her life over and learn how to stand on her own for the first time in her life. T.K. weaves a very realistic story of a woman who has led a very sheltered life being fed a huge dose of reality as to what the average person deals with on a day to day basis. Here is a woman whose family connections got her the prestigious job she formerly held, and it is that same family connection that is working against her in finding a job at all.
The suspense ratchets up a little in this installment, with Eleanor finding out more things about her father, some of them from the man himself. But can she even trust anything he says? They've never had a close relationship, and after her fallout with Brock, her mother seems even more acrimonious towards her.
I particularly liked the unique way that Eleanor communicated with Dante during their time apart. That was lovely and emotional and warmed my heart.
This book didn't end on a cliffhanger, more like a "to be continued" but Eleanor feels a storm coming. So this is it, we're heading into the last book now, and my mind is whirling with so many things that I'm dying to know the answers to. Will we finally find out what really happened with Dante's daughter? What's going on with Brock who was conspicuously absent in this book? Why does Eleanor's mother seem to hate her so much? And most importantly, will Dante and Eleanor finally get to love freely and get their happily ever after? I can't wait to find out!
Allowing fate to continuously guide their way, Dante & Eleanor’s angst-filled saga pulses forward in this third installment of “Inferno.” Now, oceans apart, one must question if fate is truly on this couple’s side. Eleanor, too, begins to have her doubts. But social media helps to breach the miles, as she and Dante manipulate its use to communicate in a uniquely personal way. Like old fashioned love letters, their photo posts are its modern equivalency and are utterly sweet and endearing. But they also serve to intensify Eleanor’s yearning to get back into Dante’s arms just as quickly as fate will allow.
Despite missing Dante, Eleanor is still determined to carve out a new life for herself, independent of her parents and ex-fiancé. While this doesn’t prove easy, Eleanor presses on. Fate lends a helping hand in landing her a job, and soon after, the rest of the pieces fall into place. Still, her relationship with both her parents continues to be strained—with her mother, ever controlling; her father, under her suspicious eye.
Distrust and doubt swirl around her father, who Eleanor believes to be complicit in the death of Dante’s daughter, Lilly. But as new evidence comes to light, Eleanor begins to think that his culpability might run deeper than she had thought. So, is her father’s assertion of innocence to be believed? Or, is he really a deceitful monster, who's shrouded by his political status and cloaked in an expensive suit?
Giving fate a little shove, Eleanor finds her way back to Dante in a frustratingly epic way. Yet, as to be expected, their eventual reunion is both sinfully sexy and tenderly sweet. Distance did little to dim their explosive heat—their chemistry still rocketing off the charts. But it’s Dante’s tender touch and earnest words that truly warm my heart.
Unlike parts one and two, part three leaves the reader in a temporary state of bliss. Although the anticipated cliffhanger ending is nonexistent, the implication that a “storm is coming” weighs heavy in the air. And with that dire warning in the forefront, I believe this story's conclusion just might blow us all away.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
OMG, OMG, I was so nervous and curious why this book arrived that I screamed like a little girl. T. K. Leigh is the one to blame. Her writting is so intense that I craved her words. Her precious books left me anxious and now I'm about to get what I wanted. I was taken away reading the first two books and I had so many questions, so many that I was almost insane. The waiting almost killed me but here I am to dig in. But let me just say one thing, this book is Not a standalone. You need to read part one and two in order to understand the story. Inferno part 3 continues to tell Elie's story... And what a story this has been.. Why... Oh why did this had to end? And like the way it did! When I thought that I was getting some answers, bamm, I was hit by a curve ball, again and again... Dayum... I can't handle it... I want more and fast... I'm really loving this story, each book just gave me more than I asked for and sometimes is seemed it was a lot. Jesus T. K. Leigh... Gimme the other book soon... I want to know more... I need to know more... I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
What else can I say about this incredible's writing? T. K does it again, and as usual leaves, you pulling hair and gnawing fingernails.
In part III we encounter a dilemma Eleanor whether she did the right thing she left Rome are faith play with her?
Eleanor's ascension manages to insist on her success despite everything. The secrets revealed, the difficult moments with her parents, all this does not let her give up the belief that she and Dante should be together.
T. K gives us the amazing feelings of Dante and Eleanor. The amazing connection despite the distance. The messages they convey in the form of images and sentences only show the beautiful love.
Are Despite the belief secrets that reveal, bring closure or heartbreak?
Dante and Ellie are your new Gideon and Eva. The thrilling and emotional journey these two embark on together will hurt your heart and make you grip the edge of your seat; frantically turning the pages because you desperately need them to make it. Dante, a handsome entrepreneur and chef from Italy will make you believe in chivalry and real romance again. While Ellie, although stubborn, has all the wit, fire and passion you crave from a strong heroine. Outside forces threaten these two again and again. At times you’ll be left wondering what fate really has in store for them, and if pushing forward is truly worth the pain? Through this four-book series T.K. Leigh takes you on a rollercoaster of love, loss and growth. You will feel every emotion leap from the page and into your heart when you give time to this gripping story.
Ellie is on her way to the alter when she realizes she’s about to agree to spend the rest of her life in the same loveless controlling style she grew up with. And she’s done with it. So she skips out on her own wedding and catches a plane to Italy. She meets Dante on the flight. When she sees him later on a sightseeing trip, he tells her it must be fate. But not everything is always as it seems. Tk Leigh is one of my favorite romantic suspense authors. This one was a little more romance and a little less suspense. Ellie deserved a sweet guy like Dante.
I believe fate is a big part of this book. She definitely has a sense of humor with Ellie. Did Ellie make the right decision in leaving Rome and Dante? Fate thinks otherwise. We still don't know Ellie's dad's role in the drug part or what secret he's hiding. Hopefully we will get it all solved in the next installment.
I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.
If you are reading this review, chances are you have read the first two parts. We were left with a cliffhanger at the end of part 2 and I don't want to give anything away here so I am going to be really vague.
This part had a different feel from the previous parts. Eleanor really comes into her own and it was a great thing to watch unfold. We get a little bit more drama in this one that is related to things we previously learned. I love that TK gives us a little bit of intrigue to help balance all the sexy times. But there is also a lot of emotional moments that had me tearing up more than once.
Just like at the end of the two previous parts, I NEED THE NEXT ONE. Gah! TK is the master at making readers want more and while this one doesn't end on a cliffhanger, it does leave some things open and I cannot wait to read part 4.
Another great part of this amazing love story. Follow Ellie and Dante in this next chapter of Inferno. Can't wait to find out how it ends in part 4. #AlexanderWho #DanteNumberOneBBF
4.5 stars! This story keeps getting better. I was eagerly awaiting this installment to see what Eleanor was going to do. I won't lie and say I wasn't a little disappointed in her choice but as always T.K. Leigh delivered a story that kept me engaged in both Dante and Eleanor while they navigated their lives. She has laid more bread crumbs for us to follow hopefully leading us to all of the secrets and lies that are riddled throughout the first three books.
I loved watching Eleanor learn to stand on her own and stand her ground. Not only has she decided to break ties with Brock but the life that she was nothing more than a puppet in. My heart ached for her while she tried to live without Dante. Although he consumed her mind she hadn't quite realized that she no longer had her heart.
I was so happy to see that their connection never truly severed even with the miles between them. Their story replayed and captured in photos only known to them. Fate seemed to be working against them but truly was paving the way to yet another chance encounter that would leave Eleanor and Dante only one option.......to fall.
Of course, T.K Leigh leaves us wondering once again at the end of this installment. I can't wait to see how the rest of this story unfolds and how the secrets will affect all of those involved. Will Eleanor learn more than she ever wanted to know about her parents? Will Dante finally have answers about who's responsible for his daughter's death? I guess we will need to stay tuned to find out.
I squealed so loudly when Part 3 of Inferno landed in my kindle! So many questions to be answered - the biggest being how did the coin land and what did Fate decide for Ellie? The answer comes immediately.
Ellie returns to America to face her life and the consequences of her actions.
The consequences are harsh, heartbreaking and eye opening for Ellie. The loneliness is crushing. The struggle to regain her footing is painful. Still, under all of the struggle, loneliness and bitter words from a horribly vindictive mother, Ellie finds the strength to allow fate to guide her in the hopes to get the answers that she needs to make her way back to Dante and the most incredible love she has ever known.
Even though miles and oceans separate these two, the love and romance between Dante and Ellie is as strong as ever. It is sigh worthy and just made my heart flutter and my stomach clutch. Pure unadulterated romance only matched by Ellie's determined journey to uncover what secrets have changed her course and could destroy any happiness that she could have with the man who has his own revelations tied to her. This is Ellie's story and it is a beautifully written one.
There are still so many questions to be answered. Will Dante discover what happened to his daughter? Will Ellie find a way to forgive her mother and father for the parts they have played in her misery? Will love be enough and can fate be kind? Part four holds the answers and I cannot wait to get my hands on it!
OMG! The emotions in this book will rock you to the core! I don’t know how much more Ellie could have dealt with. How she stayed semi-sane is beyond me. On top of the pain and heartache she was suffering, she had to deal with her parents all while trying to get to the bottom of the ongoing mystery. Is her Dad involved or not? What is he covering up?
T.K. Leigh wrote her pain over Dante brilliantly. I felt every stab of pain, every tear of longing, every ounce of regret, every beat of her heart breaking, every time she reached out hoping for fate to bring her world right again.
I loved watching Ellie pull herself up from the ground and start to take charge of her life. Every time something knocked her down, she would pull from deep inside and continue on, knowing there was a reason, knowing she would survive.
I am left with more questions than answers. We know there is so much more to her Dad’s involvement. We also know we have not seen the last of Brock! There is also the teaser T.K. Leigh left at the end! It’s going to be so hard to wait patiently for book four!
I need the rest, NOW!!
If you haven’t started this series, you are missing out. You DO NOT want to miss this!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Eleanor's life has always been a series of carefully constructed roads. Always the passenger, never the driver. Always the puppet, never the master. Always the pawn, never the queen. Until she met Dante. He makes her feel like a princess, a goddess, a queen....His queen. Only with Dante does everything make sense. Only with Dante does she know who she is. Only with Dante does she believe in hope, in faith, in love. They met in the clouds. They bared their souls in the clouds.
Inferno: Part 3 starts right where Part 2 left off. As you know it was a huge cliff hanger that left us all gasping for breath. When we last saw Eleanor she was tossing a coin to see which direction fate was telling her to go. Here is where you find out which way she went. I'm not telling you any more than that but I will tell you this book is scorching hot. The heat level has been turned up in Inferno: Part 3 and once again your going to be begging for Inferno: Part 4.
This is such an amazing series. I highly recommend it. But if you've not started it yet you won't have to experience the holy crap it ended moments, well except for part 4.
This is Part 3 of the Inferno series so I must start out on my soapbox and say there is no and ifs or buts about it, you MUST read Part 1 & 2 FIRST, otherwise you will understand nothing of the layers that are slowly being unraveled in this very addictive story. After a flip of the coin, it starts out with Ellie going home to figure out who she is without anyone holding her up, so she has left Dante behind, but for how long? Only fate will decide that. No she must break ties with her family, and all that they stand for. It's slow going because their reach is long, so she's jobless, homeless, and doesn't have many prospects. But as she moves forward, she's also been uncovering more clues in something that Dante started, which could be highly dangerous. TK Leigh is the queen of weaving together suspenseful stories that hold my attention hostage like a boss, and the Inferno series is absolutely no exception. Her twists & turns around every corner in Part 3 are bigger than ever which mean my f-bomb dropping skills are bigger than ever. I LOVED every minute of this Part that kept me on the edge of my seat with heart pounding, even with the sadness that Ellie had to leave Dante, so Part 4 CANNOT come out quickly enough! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
After readers were left with a jaw dropping cliffhanger in Part 2 of the Inferno Series, I personally wanted to throw my kindle. It was absolute torture to wait a month to read the next installment in this serial romance. However, as with both Part 1 and Part 2, I was so totally absorbed with T.K. Leigh’s writing and story. She truly does not disappoint. While I am not typically a fan of novellas – usually because I tend to favor more complex plots and more character development; yet the Inferno novellas are absolutely lacking NOTHING! These books are intense and if you can put your kindles down within the covers of each book you have more self-restraint than I do!!! Part 3 picks up with the answers to Eleanor’s epic decision. And the book again takes readers on a rollercoaster of emotions and excitement with this truly original story. I can honestly say that at no point in these books could I have predicted the direction this story would lead me. It is full of epic sensuality and chemistry between Dante and Eleanor and contains enough twists and turns to leave readers with whiplash. Exceptionally well written and should not be missed!!! Pick up your copy of this truly astounding series now!!!
My struggle is real when it comes to writing a review for a new release by my favorite author T.K. Leigh. Inferno is a four part series and they seem to only be getting better with each new story that I have in my hands. In part three we are given more of Ellie's story and her determination to find herself without the help of her parents, ex fiancé, friends and the love of her life. She also struggles to find answers that could destroy those around her. The secrets, lies, self-doubt and the mystery of who is behind it all kept me on the edge.
This is such a short read, but Leigh has a way of making me feel the emotional heartbreak of Ellie and I felt as if I was Ellie missing a part of me. I was such a mess and then I felt like a kid in a candy store- overcome with the sweet temptation that is Dante. I can't say much, but if I leave you with one thing and that is to pick up the first book in the Inferno series (if you haven't started) and get lost in this suspense romance that is filled with a love story that could only be brought upon by fate and a little fight. 5 I'm in love with Dante Stars!!!
This series really has it all! In this book, we pick up immediately following the outcome of Eleanor’s “Coin Toss with Fate.” It brings her back to LA, as she needs desperately to discover herself and tie up some loose ends in order to be able to move on with her life. Her only true family/support system is her friend, Mila, who opens her home and family to her while she struggles to make it on her own.
Eleanor starts discovering more secrets that involve her father, a pharmaceutical company, and some people very high up. Her father tries to warn her off with her questions but because what she’s finding out could involve Dante’s daughter, she knows she must keep digging.
My favorite part of this book is the way Dante & Eleanor stay connected. Pictures and romantic quotes through Instagram are the only way they communicate without actually speaking to each other. It’s so beautifully done. You really feel their love hasn’t diminished at all, though they’re apart.
Waiting for the conclusion of their story in book four is killing me, but I know the wait will be so worth it!!!!
First Person: Ellie/Eleanor ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 stars (Audiobook) Adult Romance
Eleanor goes back to California to straighten/get closure of parts of her life, which I completely agreed with. But this girl also likes to play the victim, Eleanor gets fired from her job, due to her evil mother. She’s offered a great severance package but refuses to accept it and then wants to whine about being jobless and running low on money. 🙄 She also cries about missing Dante, but that’s her fault, since she refused to exchange numbers. Eleanor is such an idiot(when it comes to her personal life), bless her heart.
Finally, close to the end of the book her and Dante are reunited. Eleanor: “I don’t know who I am without you, you’re a part of me. Without you in my life, I’m hopelessly incomplete.” This statement truly pissed me off because their time apart was supposed to help her find herself.
Even though Dante and Eleanor are ridiculously dramatic, there is a lot going on in this book…secrets, lies, betrayal, attempted and murder. I can’t wait to get the answers to my questions.
The transformation Ellie has made since Inferno Part 1 is such a beautiful thing. No more is she the puppet for her mother, father or Brock. She is free from their "chains." And it is all because of Dante. She now believes in fate. She is on her own and finally free. What a beautiful feeling. She cannot believe how she lived like that. She now sees past the fake smiles and fake people. How did she ever live like that? Even though she was with Dante for just a week he opened her eyes to a world where she can be who she is not what her parents and even Brock expect her to be. She lives for herself and not to make the others look good. The coin toss brought her back to the states for a reason. Not to punish her and live without Dante but to close that part of her life where she was a mere pawn in their lives and to live above the clouds and be happy and free. The death of Dante's little girl is still an issue but with Dante by her side she can finally live for herself.
This is the third part of this series and they must be read in order. This story gets better and better the more I read of it. I love Dante and Eleanor’s characters. Eleanor flipped a coin and let fate decide if she should head back to the states or if she should stay in Italy with Dante. Eleanor wants no needs to figure out who she really is. How to make it on her own. Eleanor wants to break the chains that hold her to her past. She wants to get a job on her own merits, pay her own way, and discover what makes her happy. But is she holding herself back by doing this. Is she hurting herself and Dante by enforcing this time apart. She is beginning to realize how she truly feels for Dante. She is discovering how strong she is and what she is capable of. I can’t wait to read the last part of this series. I can’t get enough of Dante and Eleanor. T.K. Leigh is a fabulous author and I love her books. I was given this book in return for an honest review.
This is the third installment of Inferno, you have to read parts one and two to be able to follow this fantastic story of Dante and Eleanor!
I love how fate plays into the story and how each character responds to it. Eleanor is really breaking through her chains of the past and is becoming the person she wants to be.
Dante is still amazing as ever! The Instagram posts!! I am swooning!
I love the twists and turns in this story and I find myself asking questions (out loud sometimes, getting strange looks from the family) and hoping I will find the answers soon! I cannot wait for the final book in this series to come!
Do yourself a favor and read this series, you will fall in love with it, just as I have!
Well done Tracy Leigh! Thank you for sharing this story with us!
Inferno, Part Three by T.K. Leigh picks up where book 2 left off which was one huge cliffhanger. When the book last left off, we were reading how Eleanor flips a coin in order to figure out which direction to go, which direction Fate was telling her to go. In part 3, we find out which direction the coin sent her on. This installment in the series is fantastic. The reader is taken along an exciting, intense, emotional and passionate journey with Dante and Eleanor. The steam factor is extremely high in this story and also there is intrigue and a tad of suspense and the ending was not so much a cliffhanger but more of a to be continued –which had its own impact when the story finished for now. There is danger coming and the ending sort of warns this. This read left me with more questions like What about Brock? What is Dante’s role really with everything? Why does Eleanor’s mother have such hate for her and the biggest question –Will Dante and Eleanor get to have their HEA? As always, TK Leigh wrote a pretty awesome read . I was hanging on and I so need answers and the way she has written everything has me super excited for the final book in the series. She can write great stories, fantastic characters and places that make me feel as if I am truly there while reading. This woman can write!! I am super psyched for book 4 and for any future writings from Ms. Leigh.
My Rating: 4.6 stars ***** “I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."
